Kryolan Professional Lipstick in LC165 Review

So, another Kryolan review today:) I am slowly getting obsessed with Kryolan, so much so that I have asked my relatives to get more Kryolan stuff from Delhi yayyy!!!:) This lipstick was purchased from Kryolan Chennai; and let me tell you guys I was hunting for this shade for like a million years and it ended here 🙂 Read on, you will also love this shade for sure:)

My Take on Kryolan Professional Lipstick in LC165 :

I am going to start with the packaging of the product, as it is my least favorite part of this amazingly good product. Do not think that it is not sturdy and is not suitable for travel etc; it is definitely travel-friendly. It is just that it does not look that appealing to me. It is just a simple silver case and that’s it – nothing else. It has a mirror kind of thing on the lid so it is a little helpful when there is no mirror in handy. I purchased around 10 lipsticks from Kryolan; and there is no problem with their functioning so far 🙂

Now, let me tell you about the texture of the product. It is very creamy in texture and it settles to a matte finish 10 minutes post application, which is by the way my favorite part 🙂 I love matte make-up, especially in lipsticks and eye shadows. It does not settle into the fine lines of my lips, it just goes oh so smooth!! There is no tugging and pulling at all. It does not dry my lips at all in fact, I find it hydrating.

Coming to the shade and pigmentation of this product; now the pigmentation of all Kryolan lipsticks is amazing. You do not even need the second swipe with these until and unless you want to do so; with the darker shades I just do not need that another swipe. The is a brick red colored lipstick; I do not know if you guys find this weird but I have been hunting for this color for a long long time. It is just that I find this color so unique, a mix of red, pink and rust.

The staying power of Kryolan lipsticks is good. It stays on lips for about 5-6 hours but it does not survive meals; It fades evenly and leaves a nice stain behind. The most irritating part of Kryolan lipsticks is the weird smell they have. This irritating smell just lingers on for at least 30 minutes!!Ugh!! I hate it!

Yes; I like to try different shades you know, but this is something I would always want have in my collection:)
