L.A. Girl Eyeliner Pencil Sky Blue Review

Today, I will be reviewing the shade “Sky Blue” from L.A. Gir’s Eyeliner Pencil range. I have bought 4 pencils from this collection and have already reviewed “Aspen Green” and “Deepest Brown” previously on IMBB. “Raging Violet” is already covered by another writer. So, here goes the detailed review on the shade “Sky Blue.” These pencils are affordable and great if you want to experiment with colored eye pencils.

My Experience with L.A. Girl Eyeliner Pencil Sky Blue:

The pencil is a standard black, wooden, slim pencil with a black plastic cap. The shade name is mentioned in the body and the bottom end of the pencil is color coded. I prefer color-coded caps more as they make spotting the pencil from the stash easier. The wooden pencil allows easy sharpening and I love this thing about eyeliner pencil. Overall, the packaging is good and you can easily carry it in your purse and makeup bag.

This is a sky blue shade which looks horrible on the eyelids. I really do not have words to describe how bad it looks and feels (I think this will be the shortest review I will write). It does not apply uniformly on the eyes. It looks shiny, pale and ashy. It looks a little shiny or metallic (I am not sure about it), but I can tell you that it does not look good at all.

My eyes look swelled up when I apply this eyeliner. I expected sky blue to be a vibrant, light blue shade; however, this makes me look sick. Probably you can use it as an eye makeup base, but I am not sure if that will work either.

The texture of this one feels a little rough compared to the other three pencils that I have tried (Aspen Green, Deepest Brown, and Raging Violet). It feels gritty probably as it has the glittery feel. It is not uncomfortable once applied and does not irritate the eyes either.

This eyeliner pencil is not long lasting. It fades sooner than the others. It is not smudge-proof, waterproof or oil-proof.

Overall, I am not at all happy with this eyeliner pencil. I think I will throw this away. I hate wasting products, but I do not know how to use it at all.
