My Experience with LA Colors Chunky Lip Pencil Warm Caramel:

I like using crayons. They are easy-to-use and look really cute. This lip crayon pencil comes in the form of long and sleek chubby pencil with a twist-up base, which works pretty smoothly. This is a retractable crayon, which does not require any sharpening. The tip of the crayon helps to draw precise lip lines. The color-coded packaging is easy to spot in my makeup stash. The cap fits securely and does not come off when you carry it around in your purse. The pencil is really lightweight, handy and travel friendly.

“Warm Caramel” is a soft, n*de caramel brown shade. The shade will suit fair to medium skin tones easily, but it is not a flattering shade for deeper complexions. This shade is subtle and it is good for everyday use.

It can be used just anytime and anywhere without a second thought. There are no shimmers in this lipstick. The pigmentation is average and 2-3 swipes are needed to show true color and hide lip pigmentation properly. It is a versatile shade for college girls and office as well.

The texture of the lip color is quite creamy. It is very soft and glides effortlessly on the lips. It does not cause any tugging or pulling of the lips. It feels kind of buttery, and comfortable on the lips. It does not have a thick and waxy texture. The lipstick sets to a soft glossy or crème finish. The formula is neither too drying and not really hydrating. The formula is quite okay and comfortable on dry lips. The creaminess of the lipstick makes it prone to transfer easily. The lipstick does not crease and does not feel heavy even upon layering. The lipstick does not bleed or smudge.

The staying power is somewhere around 2-3 hours, which is really disappointing. As a result, this lip pencil requires frequent touch ups, it does not survive any meals. It just goes off completely and requires reapplication after meals. It is non-staining and wipes off easily.
