Hello pretties,
I was overwhelmed by what my sister did recently. When my mom was coming to my place, she managed to hand over a bag full of makeup and beauty stuff, I couldn’t be happier. This lipstick was in the makeup bag and the lipstick lover that I am, I managed to already use it for a few times. Here is the review on the same 🙂

My Experience with Lakme Crease Less Crème Lipstick – Pink Pursuit:
The lipstick comes in pretty rose gold packaging with an outer paper carton with all the information details. The shade name and number is mentioned at the base, but the body is not color coded. The cap is sturdy and shuts with a click, so there is no chance of opening when carrying in the makeup pouch. Pretty girly packaging, but it would have been awesome if there was a color-coded sticker.
The color is a pretty pastel peachy n*de pink with very evident silver shimmer, which thankfully does not show up on the lips. On the contrary, they impart the glam look to the lip color. It is a very pretty shade for the day wear, but can be slightly tricky if you are tanned or someone above nc-42, it might give you a washed away look. The pink undertones give a very simple n*de polished look to the face.
The texture of this range is creamy and smooth. The silver shimmer does not feel gritty on the lips luckily enough. The color does not settle on the lips and gives an even and smooth finished look. One swipe will not cover pigmented lips; you have to build up on the pigmentation if you wish to fully cover the lips. Due to the shade, it can be worn as a sheer wash of color on the lips as well.
The staying power is not that impressive, mostly because the lipstick is so creamy that it transfers to cup/mugs, spoons etc. With mini meals or drinks, the staying power would be 2-3 hours after which it would start fading evenly. I do not mind touching up the lip color, but if you are someone who prefers long-staying lipsticks, this one is not for you.
The only glitch that I have with this lip color is that the silver shimmer stays after the color vanishes. It is difficult to take the shimmers off if they start moving all over the face, so I tend to wipe off the remaining after a meal and apply fresh. This takes care of the shimmer transfer to a certain extent.

This shade won’t look good on me at all. I don’t understand Lakme’s obsession with shimmer. 😛
same same…without the shimmers it would have been one of the best in my collection…
