My Experience with the Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick:
Texture: It’s creamy in texture & smoothly glides on the lips & doesn’t need much effort to get a nice color. The color looks much pigmented if applied alone or you could even top it up with a lipgloss. The lipstick melts just a little bit, whenever I need to use it I have to put in the fridge for 5 minutes & use it. Also, it has to be used on exfoliated lips because if used on chapped lips, it kind of settles in the cracked lips. The lipstick is not very moisturising I need to use a lip balm before I apply this.
Staying Power: The staying power of the lipstick is very unimpressive. They don’t even stay on my lips for 2 hours. I applied it & had just one cookie & the color was gone without even leaving a light tint. I have used the Lakme 9to5 lipstick & in comparison to this it stays longer on the lips & after having tea or snacks it leaves behind a tint.
Fragrance: I hate the fragrance! It has this weird smell that Lakme lipsticks usually have, which is very disturbing to me.
Packaging: This range comes in the same regular Lakme Packaging. If you have lots of Lakme lipsticks, it becomes difficult to find the shade you are looking for & you need to check each lipstick to read the shade name or have to open the case to have a look at the color.
Price: Affordable at Rs.225
Shades: The website shows so many colors to choose; however I’m not sure if all the shades are available in some cities. The shade I have got Bamboo Pink would make darker skin tones look washed out. This looks semi matte glossy on my lips & looks great for day or night wear.
Will I repurchase this? No!
Will I recommend this? If you are looking for pretty mauve or pinkish shades at an affordable price & not worried about touch ups, do have a look at the collection.

uzma i totally dislike this enrich satin lipsticks packaging, i also have so many of them and it’s a pain to find the colour your want. I end up using some other lipstick all the time even though i have a few fav shades from lakme. :hrmph:
I do like the colour however. I guess i’ll check it out for myself. 🙂
Rati, I was sad about the staying power but I guess can’t expect much at Rs.225 will check lipsticks from other brands at the same price :))
the colour is lovely & don’t find these lipsticks so bad. I have a couple & I quite like them
same here.. I do quite like them. :)Bt you know sometimes when shade dont do justice to our complexion we end up not liking the lipstick altogether. Guess that’s the case with Uzma. 🙂
Yeah Monika, the color looks, :yes: I have always liked using my mom’s lipstick when I was kid & was very fond of them :)) But the only thing that bothered me most about this lipstick is the staying power :methinks:
hooked onto the Faces lipglosses and the flavoured lip balms at this time :makeup:

I have shade no. 127, and I saw staying power is only half an hour to maximum one hour for me, i liked the color, but its staying power is horrible, and weird smell even, 🙁 its better to buy colorbar ones than this !!

it never showed up on me :struggle:
i had n still hav 2 lippis from this range… i dont find much cons in these but maybelline watershine n all in the same range r a better option than these :))
Forget two hours, it wont even stay an hour for me! I like the texture though, better than previous lakmes …but maybe because of its creaminess it broke! This colour wouldnt work for me.
