As I have always maintained, I am a lipstick hoarder and lover, I have always wanted to try stuff from Lipstick Queen. I have been eyeing various shades from this brand and seriously, these are one of the best sheer lipstick formulas that I have ever tried. The shade that I will be reviewing today is “Trance.”

My Experience with Lipstick Queen Butterfly Ball Trance Lipstick:
“Trance” comes housed in a metallic purple-mauve metallic packaging with metallic font on it. Lipstick Queen is written on the cap and the shade name is printed at the bottom of the tube. As I have mentioned above, these lipsticks offer sheer coverage and are easy to apply on-the-go without using a mirror. These have a balmy texture, which is buildable from very sheer to light coverage.
“Trance” is a n*de shade with blue reflective shimmer and will look flattering on all skin tones and is good for everyday use. The reflective shimmer do not show up on the lips. It makes teeth appear whiter. This lipstick is sheer and it can be built up, can also be used as a lip topper.
It glides on easily and doesn’t feel heavy, even after applying several layers of the lipstick. The formula doesn’t settle into fine lines and make lips smooth, plump and even. This lipstick formula also doesn’t bleed around the lips.
The only drawback of the lipstick is that it doesn’t survive meals and needs reapplication. It does leave a slight stain which is barely there, but still, thankfully, it won’t make your lips look flat.
It feels very lightweight and comfortable on the lips and feels very hydrating throughout the wear time. In fact, after it gets worn off, my lips still feel very hydrating. I get 3 to 4 hours of wear time with Trance.
