My Experience with L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick – Julianne’s Nude:

Julianne’s n*de is a soft pink shade with peachy undertones. It’s a sort of n*de that you can carry everyday with any kind of makeup look. It has a very creamy formula and gives a satin pearly kind of finish. It just glides on my lips like silk and gives a very buttery feeling. There is no heavy feeling on the lips, it’s very lightweight. Even though it’s soft, it does not slip and applies evenly on the lips. I love to swipe it 2-3 times to build up some pigmentation. Though that’s not required, still I love doing that. Julianne’s rose doesn’t get cakey even on building up layers. It has shimmer in it but the formula is not gritty and the shimmer does not travel on your face.

In terms of lasting power, it stays on my lips for around 3-4 hours and fades evenly. The best part here is that it does not dry my lips even after the color is totally gone. It does not even leave a ring around my mouth after hours of application.

L’Oreal Collection Privee Lipsticks come in a black matte case with golden accents and golden autograph. I found this cover quite luxurious and it gives a nice change from the regular golden casing; makes it all the more easy to find from the stash. It has a click lock and travel-friendly packaging. Shape of the bullet is standard L’Oreal, easy to apply and sturdy also.

Julianne’s N*de might not cover pigmented lips due to its pale color. Otherwise, it can become your new favorite n*de shade. You can go and grab one as soon as you can and enjoy wearing it.

• Might not suit pigmented lips.
• Would not give a smooth finish on dry lips.
• Have to use clean hands while using the matte casing, it attracts dust.

I am certainly going to pick a few more from this range, lately I am falling more for lighter lips. Of course this is giving me a chance to add a bit more of such shades to my collection.  Highly recommended if you are fond of light lips, otherwise also it’s a shade worth picking.
