I am very happy today as I got such a wonderful Valentine’s gift from my hubby 🙂 Wait, I will tell you about my lovely gift at the end of my post 😛 Let me first tell you that after trying and testing all brands, I finally came back to my L’Oreal 😛 I feel nothing can beat L’Oreal lipsticks in terms of price, quality and pigmentation overall (it’s my personal experience after reading reviews of others and also testing myself, no offences please :P)!! Inspired by all of you, I have started making my mini make up kit with every possible lipstick and eyeliner shade. While searching for must haves, I came across “Brazil Nut” from L’Oreal Colour Riche range.  Read on further to know about “Brazil Nut.”

It comes in the usual sturdy yet classy golden packaging with a twisted cap. It’s overall an eye pleasing and travel-friendly packaging with a heavenly vanilla smelling bullet.

My Experience with L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick – Brazil Nut:

As I told you all earlier, I am totally into makeup fantasy these days and now trying to make a mini vanity kit for everyday use and one for festival or occasional purposes 😛 I must say I tried a few other brands while taking a break from L’Oreal, but ultimately when I felt the need of having decent, must-have shades for everyday use, only L’Oreal came to my mind! I feel so good after spending dollars and dollars on L’Oreal goodies as they are worth every penny, be it in terms of pigmentation or staying power or drool-worthy shades.

Brazil Nut is a brown which is such a ravishing copper brown color without shimmers. It’s a very apt shade which also works as a neutral shade on dusky beauties.  Even if I apply it as a subtle touch up, it gives me a sheer n* de stain. In multiple swipes, it gives a bronze effect on lips. This is how I felt I am using bronzer on my face now 😛

I feel its an universal shade to suit every age, be it charming teenagers, lavishing 20s or 30s or so on! I usually club it with beige clothes as well as coral outfits and it goes well with almost every wear as it gives a subtle n* de effect when swiped once on lips.

Coming to its texture, its ultimately smooth, creamy and hydrating like many other Colour Riche lipsticks.  I never felt the need to use lip glosses over any L’Oreal Colour Riche lipstick, I swear! They always impart such gorgeous flawless pigmentation with velvety shine and glow that I hardly remember glosses.  I hope you all can guess why I am a die-hard fan of L’Oreal Colour Riche lipsticks.

However, they also transfer on to cups and glasses, but still this lip color manages to remain on my lips up to 6 hours even with meals and sips of water! Its heavenly vanilla smell is another reason for loving it as I told you earlier that I totally love mild scented goodies.

Overall, L’Oreal never disappoints me, I usually don’t expect it to be as good as high-end brands, still it gives me the feel of high-end brands at such a price.

Summing up the pros and cons:

Pros of L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick – Brazil Nut:

• Lavishing copper brown shade without shimmer.
• Packed with vitamin E and anti-ageing properties.
• Ultra soft, creamy hydrating texture.
• Slips on lips like silk, thereby imparting creamy pigmentation.
• A perfect n*de kind of copper brown for every age category.
• Easy to pull off shade with almost every color outfit and eye make up.
• Good staying power, even after slight transferring.
• Heavenly vanilla smell which stays for an hour or so.
• Lips feel soft and supple even after rinsing it off.

Cons of L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick – Brazil Nut:

• Well, it does slightly transfer (though it happens with almost every high end brand too).

Swatches:

As I always say, I could not think of any other con besides its slight transferring quality which is almost a negligible con! I would highly recommend it to everyone for everyday office wear as well as party wear make up.  I am sure you gonna rock it and love it on your petal soft lips.
