How are you doing today? I am back to share another gorgeous shade of Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor with you. Though, I feel it is slightly tricky on my pale skin tone, it is also impressive and fascinating in terms of texture, finishing on my lips. I am not sure if I would ever get this particular neonish coral pink shade again, though the pigmentation and finish certainly deserve one trail from beauties who love neon shades. So, let’s read on further to know more about L’Oreal Paris Captivated by Cerise Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor!
This is the long-lasting, transfer-resistant color you’ve been searching for. The high-intensity color glides on with a moisturizing feel that lasts up to 24 hours.
The result: bold lips without the dry-out and no need to re-apply.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Captivated by Cerise Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor:
The shade comes in, as usual, sturdy plastic packaging with lip color at one end and top coat lip balm at the other, with tight fitted caps. No doubt L’Oreal is a winner in terms of packaging and presentation.
Captivated by Cerise is a beautiful coral pink shade with no shimmers. It appears way creamy on lips and dries up to glossy stain with same old sticky feel which need immediate follow up with a balm or top coat. I wonder it looks neon orange on my lips sometimes especially during gloomy cloudy days outside.
In short, it seems way tricky on my skin tone because there are times when I feel instant brightening effect on my skin while there are days when this shade looks neon orange to make my skin tad bit darker than usual. Whatsoever, I love its texture more than the actual shade which is perfect being a demi-matte stain especially after trying few frosty shades I find it perfect for dry-normal lips.
However, top coat is a must with every shade guess which sometimes steals actual thrill of wearing these semi-matte stains. Moreover, I find that few shades like this particular Captivated by Cerise and Mesmerizing Merlot look much beautiful when worn alone and adding gloss or top coat simply changes their finishing in front of lense as well as in person. I am not in love with glossy lips all the time, hence people like me might find it bit disappointing to wear gloss or balm with every stain.
Other than that, I don’t find any issues with this product. It lasts super duper long almost more than 10 hours that too with no uneven chipping off or flaking away. It is easily removable with lipstick remover, but no simple oil or soap water will do the trick, sorry! I am also happy to see that it does not settle in lip lines nor it ever gives any flaky or accentuate dry patches.
Moreover, I don’t require frequent layering of top coat with this shade as once it sets it does not make my lip crave for moisture or cause any flaking. Overall, if you are fine with neon shades, you might like to check it out.
Let’s sum up pros and cons:
Pros of L’Oreal Paris Captivated by Cerise Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor:
• A lightweight, creamy semi-matte stain in gorgeous coral pink shade
• It is intensely pigmented and gives buildable coverage with just one swipe
• Gives non-cakey, non-flaky finish even with multiple swipes
• Gives smooth, creamy, semi-matte finish on lips which can be worn alone with no top coat, though we need it initially to avoid that sticky feel on lips
• Does not settle into lip lines or dry lip patches
• Does not accentuate any dry lip issues
• The stain require follow up with top coat initially, thereby I don’t need lip gloss or lip balm with this stain
• Stays for good 10+ hours with no chipping or fading
• Does not transfer at all
• User friendly & travel friendly packaging
Cons of L’Oreal Paris Captivated by Cerise Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor:
• It does feel sticky, initially
• Shade seems tricky on my pale skin
Well, other than the shade, I don’t see any issue with this product. It is way creamy, glossy on its own. If you are into neon coral shades, you should check it out! Personally, I am not convinced with the shade as it seems tricky on my pale skin, but I would definitely love to check all other non-shimmery shades in this range.
