L’Oreal Paris EverPure Sulfate Free Volume Conditioner Review

Hi ladies,

Today, I will be reviewing a product from L’Oreal’s hair care range – it is their L’Oreal Paris Hair Expert Hair Expertise EverPure Volume Conditioner. I came across this one on my trip to Singapore and since then I have been using this conditioner. I have chemically-processed (read “rebonded”) hair, so I am always hunting for products that can take care of dull and “weighed down” hair. When I read it on the packaging that this conditioner tackles these issues, I picked it up immediately. To know how it fared for me, read on further.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris EverPure Sulfate Free Volume Conditioner:

This comes in a tube-style packaging with metallic details on it. It is a giant tube with 250 ml of product in it. Consistency-wise, the conditioner is very thick and white in color. It has a flip top cover to dispense the product. Though it is travel friendly, I am scared to travel with it due to flimsy plastic of the cap, it can break easily during transit.

Loreal Paris EverPure Sulfate Free Volume Conditioner details

When I saw that this conditioner is specifically for chemically-processed hair, I wanted to give it a try. It has a very light fragrance which does not stay for long and fades soon after my hair dries. This conditioner claims to control dullness and flat-looking hair, and it does work on getting rid of the dullness and leaves my hair super soft, but for “weighed down hair,” it doesn’t seem to do much. In fact, L’Oreal 6-in-1 Cleansing Balm, controls frizz better than any shampoo + conditioner that I have tried so far. It does have keratin which should control frizz as well but I am not too sure how with this one doesn’t seem to work. I am using this conditioner with the shampoo from the same range, but do not see any outstanding performance.

I will not say it is a must-have conditioner, but it is a decent product if you like to try new things. I will not repurchase this product though.
