My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Glam Bronze Powder Duo Brunette Harmony:

L’Oreal always packaged its products beautifully. This one too comes in a beautiful, travel-friendly packaging. This duo comes in a glossy bronze plastic container with a clear lid. At the bottom part, there is a second tray that contains a mirror and a pretty small flat brush applicator. Overall, this packaging looks pretty and is totally travel-friendly. Also, the brush works nicely to create a sharp, contoured look; but, it is not very soft.

Shade and Pigmentation:
Brunette Harmony offers two shades: one is a creamy light beige shade with some highly noticeable golden shimmers in it and the second one is a warm toned brown bronzer. The former acts as a pretty highlighter for all skin tones while the latter is not the perfect shade for all Indian skin tones. It will look good only on fair to medium skin tones.

This looks like a very sheer bronzer when I swatch it on my hand but shows up amazingly on my face. It looks very nice and provides a light contoured look. It instantly won my heart because of its natural and soft look. The highlighter looks quite pigmented in my hand swatches yet it does not show up well on my face. A lot of swipes of this highlighter are required to create that illuminated look. Again, remember that the bronzer is not for wheatish and dusky beauties.

Texture and Quality:
Both the shades have a soft and smooth texture that blends effortlessly on the skin and feels light too. I love its soft texture that feels very natural on the skin. It never feels chalky or powdery. The shades blend smoothly but I would suggest that you pay attention to blending. The highlighting shade contains some shimmers that look a little messy on skin, hence I always use a setting spray after applying it. The highlighter has a light shiny finish and the bronzer has a normal matte finish. The products never look patchy on the skin or don’t highlight my dry patches. They do not clog the pores either.

The lighter shade provides a very soft and natural glow to my skin. But honestly, I am not happy with the highlighter. It can’t provide that ultimate illuminated effect. Also, it moves from its place easily after a few hours of application. The bronzer provides that perfect finish with a warm and natural contoured look. It adds a nice sunkissed glow to my tanned skin. I am not saying that it is a perfect shade for contouring but it actually enhances the glow of my tanned skin. That’s why I really like this bronzer.

Staying Power:
The bronzer stays for long on my oily skin but the highlighter has a low staying power. It hardly stays for around 3 hours perfectly and fades after that. The products never make my skin oilier, but the shimmers spread a little by the end of the day.

I am happy how it turns out on my face and looks so natural on the skin. The duo offers a nice, natural-looking bronzer and a beautiful highlighter (with an average performance). There is no shade for darker skin tones, which is a bummer. For the FOTD, I applied the bronzer with a light hand and you can see how natural it looks on my skin. But I had to really work with the highlighter to get this glow.
