Loreal Paris Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo details at the back

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo:

Packaging: It comes in a sleek black bottle with an ochre colored cap. The flattened bottle is made of sturdy plastic bottle and is travel friendly. All the product details are mentioned on the back of the bottle. The flip open cap shuts tightly and I find it a good packaging, albeit quite big for traveling.

Loreal Paris Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo Review

This shampoo is recommended for damaged hair, and that’s what made me get it. My tresses are dry and frizzy, but not chemically treated, so I tend to opt for haircare stuff targeted towards damaged hair types.

This shampoo has a nice scent, something that is universally liked. It lingers for some time and gradually fades off. The texture is similar to most other L’Oreal shampoos. It is slightly thick, but runny and gives a nice lather. It contains sulphates and if you are not a big fan of lathering shampoos, you needn’t try this. I like foaming shampoos as they tend to give me the “all clear feeling.”

It removes every trace of oil and grime from hair. On days that I oil my hair, I use it twice. Otherwise, one wash is enough to cleanse my scalp and hair. It needs a conditioner, as the presence of sulphates can dry out hair. My hair feels a little shiny and nourished after using this. It doesn’t help with frizz or hair loss. It’s good as a regular shampoo for normal hair, but it isn’t something I would recommend for stressed or damaged hair. You should rather invest in a dedicated professional haircare range for better results.
