My Experience with L’oreal Professional Serie Expert Vitamino Color Shampoo
I have explained in my previous post that I color my tresses as they are prematurely greying. Adding to my sorrow my hair has a way of its own. I mean, let’s face it, they are wavy but not in a nice way, there are random waves! Now I wish they were either curly or straight rather than random waves at unwanted spots! Who likes a wave right at the hairline?? It spoils my haircut always ☹ So, I tried many shampoos like Dove, Pantene, other L’oreal variants which are available everywhere, some herbal ones… phew! Just kept trying, some made my hair limp and some made it even drier and so nothing worked for me. Besides I was also in search for a shampoo which enhances and protects my hair color. It was then when I bought the L’oreal serie expert vitamin masque I located this shampoo which was sitting along with the masque tub and they looked like harmonious neighbours ☺ I purchased the shampoo as well. It is white in color, it’s not at all runny in fact, it’s a bit on the thicker side and smells of berries but really very mild and the scent is exactly the same like masque. I quite like the packaging- its sturdy and the flip open nozzle is just perfect, it never dispenses too much of the product and hence you never end up using too much of shampoo (considering the bombarding of chemicals on hair :P). They have got a conditioner too but I use masque instead. I was glad I made this purchase because this is what my hair needed, my hair BEHAVED when I used this. It gives volume, it controls frizz hair looks lustrous. Final word- This suits my hair and the girls who face the same problem like me can definitely try it out. It gave satisfying results even when used without the masque. Shampoo along with the masque make a worthy couple.
Pros of L’oreal Professional Serie Expert Vitamino Color Shampoo
-Absolutely true to its claims
-Scent is mild and refreshing
-It does not weigh hair down even if you end up using in excess, which happens.
-Vitamin E and UV filter for color-treated hair
-Sturdy bottle with a perfect flip open nozzle.
Cons of L’oreal Professional Serie Expert Vitamino Color Shampoo
-Pricy! This range is not at all pocket friendly
-With an opaque bottle you have no idea of how much product is used up
-So full of chemicals!!
-Availability is only with L’oreal Enrich and other high end salons, if you are lucky you may find in some local shops too, not sure about the authenticity of product though. I don’t remember of seeing it at any of the popular online shopping websites
-Cannot claim the bottle as travel friendly
Would I recommend? Yes, it’s my stud ☺
