Packaging:
The Colorstylo chubby lip color comes in a lovely white and pink cardboard box. The actual lipstick is a color-indicated twist up crayon with a flimsy, clear white cap. Packaging looks attractive except the cap. You should be careful while twisting back the crayon as you might break or graze the bullet with the cap. Other than that, the packaging is pretty travel-friendly and attractive.

My Experience with Lotus Herbals Colorstylo Chubby Lip Color – Scarlet Pink:

Scarlet Pink is a beautiful bright pink shade with a hint of red. I feel it’s an instant statement maker: it can add a pop of color to your look, brighten up your face, and can be perfectly dressed up or down. So this color can be easily worn to ladies brunch or a night out. However, since it is such a loud color, I feel blotting this shade works best for me. Since this color has cool undertones, yellow or warm undertones might not find it to be their ideal pink.

The crayon is greatly pigmented. It goes on opaque in a single swipe, however with two times you can get a bold bright pout. A single layer hides any dark pigmented lips. The color glides evenly on the lips, and never looks patchy. I totally love this texture as it is smooth and moisturizing. It has a creamy texture and doesn’t feel dry. After 4 hours or so, it starts to feel dry. After a few hours some color gets settled into the fine lines.

It transfers a lot just after the application. But once it settles down in a nice matte texture, it doesn’t transfer as much. Since I love blotting this, I find it completely transfer-proof. It is not a long wearing lip color and stays on for up to 5-6 hours. But it fades away from the centre of the lips after having a meal or any snack.

In order to make it look perfect on your lips, you need to reapply it after around 4 hours. After fading, it leaves a pink stain on lips. But it is easy to remove from the lips and it doesn’t crease either. Overall, if you are into bold colors, this bright pink will surely be a winner, given its price and performance!
