My Experience :
I am heads over heels in love with the the Lotus Ecostay Foundation. It is a medium to full coverage foundation. It goes on smoothly and stays on all day long. It does not settle in fine lines. I have dry skin and I find it super comfortable to wear. It does not make my skin look or feel dry or stretchy. The finish is velvety matte. Those with oily skin would especially love it. It is oil free. It has SPF 20 so it makes an excellent day time foundation. The foundation sets after a few seconds of application and looks very natural on skin. I would not suggest this foundation if you are going to take flash photographs but it looks great in regular day time photographs. I have worn it HERE , HERE and HERE. This is a great pick for day time events, parties etc. This foundation has a great natural coverage but if there are some deep scars or blemishes, you would have to use a separate concealer to conceal those. It does not clog the pores and neither does it feel heavy on skin. Does not transfer on clothes too.
It has a light powdery fragrance, which is not bothersome. It is a 100% vegetarian foundation and it is not tested in animals. It comes in an easy to use pump bottle. The packaging is quite lightweight so it is easier to travel with.
The only negative I found about this foundation is that there is no ingredient list mentioned. It claims to be preservative free. Well! I don’t know about that.
I use a buffing brush to apply this foundation. I am someone who likes to apply foundation with finger tips. This foundation I feel is best applied using a brush.
I use the shade Hazlenut Star, which matches my skin tone perfectly. There are 5 shades available in this range.
