I am a bit busy with my cousins wedding which is in November. Am confused with my make-up:( & knew this was the right platform to get all the valuable suggestions. I need IMBB help here, majorly!!!
There are three major ceremonies for which the following is my outfit. I would like suggestions of different bt easy & classy make-up. Before I go into this I would say m on the fairer side with oval face & high cheek bones. I have brown eyes & oily Skin which becomes extra shiny after
a while.
Am attaching my pics here too.
1. Engagement- Am wearing a mustard colour jamewar churidar set, with golden jari work all over- what should be my makeup like? i want to keep the make-up light for this occasion, but one which clearly highlihts my eyes.
2. Wedding- am wearing a dark blue kanjeevaram with golden self weaving all over- I want to highlight my eyes here to, love them…they are my best features. However since the sari is heavy I would like something subtle
3. Reception- Dull green & red bhandhej churidar- I want to do up my lips for this…
4.A daily make-up to attend all the pre & post wedding bash 🙂
Please guys help me, as i need to but certain cosmetics too to complete the looks. Would be of immense help.

Ok here is what I would do if I looked like you 😛 😛 😛 😛 😛
1. For the engagement – I would go for black/dark eyes (you can go smokey or very defined) with a nudey lipstick like a beigy shade (not brown though) or add a shimmery (not frosty) finish.
2. For the dark blue saree – since you wanna do your eyes – I would say use shades of blues and grays in liners (not shadows) for a subtle blue effect. So use black or navy blue liner first and line your eyes, then use a lighter blue and line slightly over the dark line. Put kajal on the water line and finish with a light blue pencil on the lower lash line – again go for a nice beige lippy or an MLBB shade but no shimmer of frost here.
3. Reception – Black eyeliner defined eyes (keep it simple) with some Red lippie (find a nice young shade – dont do a maroons coz I find they tend to make young people look older) and f you think thats too much and not your thing – go for a reddish lip gloss in stead. Dont do anything much coz red and green is colorful as it is.
4. Daily make up for other stuff – Umm you have lovely cheek so use blush and highlighter to give you a lovely dewey look – you do have gorgeous eyes – however instead of keeping the line so defined – used a pencil eyeliner and then smudge it with a lil black eye shadow for a mini smokey effect. Also I think you have really nice lips so play those up with some nice bright lip colors (not like purples and maroons but golden toned or mauvey brown shades)

I think Janhavi covered everything except I would like to suggest that for the mustard salwar do a gold eyeshadow and a dark eyeliner just like the one in your picture. I love the blue eyeliner suggestion as I was going to suggest that as well. Select a blue eyeliner which actually shows blue as some eyeliner looks black unless you come close and see it.
For the recpetion red lippie will look best, if you are afraid of red then go for deep plum or berry color. For the daily makeup, go for a eyeshadow which matches up your eyelids, eyeshadow which is frosty. Go for a taupe or light brown or light pink which has a pearl sheen rather than shimmers. and just plain old black eyeliner.
I have the peacock quad as well and the gold shadow will look good and blue eyeshadow will look fantastic as an eyeliner. just wet an eyeliner blush as use the blue as eyeliner.
Before the function, try all our suggestions once and ask your friends for their opinion 😀
