My Non-Makeup loving friend sent these photos of Malaika Arora Khan asking me about the lipstick shade she is wearing. Quite a surprise for me. 😛 These photos are from Sahara New year Bash.
I loved her makeup. It’s so refreshing and great for winters.
Warm peach blush on cheeks and a complimenting lipstick. There is grey brown makeup on here eyes. Absolutely gorgeous.
Here are my lipstick recommendation shade , which i think are closer to what she is wearing:
- Revlon Colorburst Lipstick Peach
- Chanel La Pausa
- Lotus Herbals peach Creme ( a little brighter than this but belongs to the same family)
- MAC Jazzed Lipstick
She is also wearing a gloss.
I think MAC Cosmo would also be close match…but a lot depends on lip pigmentation
yeah. Cosmo looks pink on me. 🙂
make up is so subjective na. lotus’s peach creme looks a deep shade of coral on me and the revlon colorburst peach looks quite light and bright. if we compare both our lips wearing these shades, no one would be able to guess it’s the same lipstick!
I agree but shades do give an idea. And people can select the shades depending on what looks best on them. 🙂

I love how Maliaka turns out with perfect makeup most of the time. I’m a fan! :jaiho: Revlon Lipglide in Glazed Almond could be a good dupe of her lipstick given that she usually wears glossy lips. Revlon Lipglide is a glossy lipstick (like Lakme Aquashine) and Glazed Almond used to be my favourite before I switched to bolder shades. (We need a lipstick smiley)

I’d wear Colorbar Diva collection For keeps and top it up with a orangey brown gloss to get this kinda shade.. But it may look completely odd on anybody else.. A lot depends on your skin tone. Also i think that colours kinda develop on you after 15-20 minutes.. They react with your skin and look totally different on different people.
But i am loving the makeup. Actually i love malaika, when she’s a little covered up like in the above pic. Whenever she wears skimpy clothes she gets an overdose of bronzer, which i personally detest.
