Lakme has launched its new set of Lip Colors called Lip Love. There are 12 shades in the range.
The packaging is so valentine…Actually it’s quite cheezy but cute. 😛
The packaging is metallic red with Lip Love written all over. And there is heart engraved on the casing and “LOVE” engraved on the lipstick itself.
The lip colors are moisturising and have SPF 16.
Price : Rs 550
These are the shades:
Wine Whisper : The shade is deep red wine with satiny finish.
Lakme Strawberries & Cream Lipstick : It’s a brownish pink lip color with golden sheen to it.
Lakme Love Haze Lipstick : It’s a nude brown shade with a soft glossy sheen.
Lakme Aphrodite Blush Lipstick : That’s exactly the same shade that Malaika Arora is wearing HERE 😀 I had to get it he he 😛
Lakme Dark Desire Lipstick :tremble: Why does Lakme come up with this shade always? It’s a dark dark dark Maroon shade. It’s quite similar to Wine Whisper but darker.

Lakme Passion Fruit Lipstick : It’s a mauve brown lip color with soft golden shimmer to it.
Lakme Rose Kissed Lipstick : It’s a warm pink rosy color.
Lakme Honey Bun Lipstick : It’s a warm mid tone brown color.
Lakme Sangria Rush Lipstick : A cherry red shade.
Lakme Chocolate Caress Lipstick: It’s a soft taupe brown shade. This shade is also in Lakme Lip Palette

Lakme Plum Pout Lipstick : It’s a plummy purple shade.
Lakme Valentine Velvet Lipstick : It’s a bright magenta pink shade.
All the shades in the collection are ones that would suit most Indian skin tones. But some shades are repeat from their earlier lipstick ranges such as Lakme satin Enrich or Lakme 9-5 Day Wear range. The lipsticks are quite pigmented but not as pigmented as their 9-5 range they launched earlier this month. These lipsticks are quite creamy and moisturising. The lipstick stayed even after a full meal but these are not the long stay lipsticks. They have a soft vanilla scent to them..very very soft. The first impressions are pretty good. I’ll let you know how the lipstick fares in the coming days. 🙂

No weird taste at all. just a very faint vanilla fragrance. It’s nice. :))

I like the packaging of both Maybelline CS and Revlon Colorburst. At 500 Revlon Colorburst is def better but I so fell for the shade that i had to get it. 😀

If you are confused between the two…then pick up Revlon Colorburst. They are excellent lipsticks. 🙂
