My Take on MUA Elysium Elements Eyeshadow Palette:
Packaging: MUA Elysium Elements Palette comes in a slim packaging with a transparent plastic cover to display the shades. It is a lightweight and travel-friendly palette, but I can’t say that it’s very sturdy as I feel any fall from a height may damage the packaging and the shades.
Texture: MUA Elysium Elements Eyeshadow palette comprises of 10 neutral and earthy eyeshadows with a duo eyeliner pencil. Each and every eyeshadow has a soft and finely milled texture. Even though talc is present in the ingredients list, none of the shades are chalky. Also, there is not much fallout issue either. Eight of the shades have satin finish and the other two are completely matte. I like the fact that the shades have names; you can check the details on the bottom of the palette for respective shade names.
Shade/Pigmentation/Finish: The shades “Smoke” and “Almond” are matte while Gold Khaki, Obsessed, Lavender Mist, Antique Brass, Ash Grey, Copper Peony and Pale Chestnut are satin finish eyeshadows. The best part of MUA Elysium Elements Eye Shadow Palette is that it carries some really unique shades and is a well-balanced neutral eyeshadow palette with versatile shades.
All the shades are really well pigmented. The swatches that you see are of single brush swipe. This palette has long-wearing eyeshadows, which stay in place without creasing for 5 hours, even without a primer. The shine starts to fade after 5 hours though.
The Duo Liner: This palette comes with a duo eyeliner instead of a traditional sponge applicator or eyeshadow brush. The duo liner has intense jet black shade at one end and the other one is a n*de brown eyeliner. This is the second and revised version of MUA Elysium Elements Eye Shadow Palette.
The older one had more of earth and rosy neutral shades. The eyeliner duo in the older version was matte chocolate brown with golden highlighter on the other end. The only shade repeated in the new version is “Smoke.”
