NYC Get Noticed was the only lip stain that I picked from England. They have a NYC display in Superdrug in a few stores and that is where I bought this one and I also picked the “Big City Berry” lip gloss. If you are also on the fence like me about lip stains, take a look at this pretty shade.

My Experience with NYC Get Noticed Smooch Proof Liquid Lip Stain:
Check out two more shades of NYC lip stain – On Everyone’s Lips and Faithful Coral. Get Noticed is a reddish-orange kind of a shade. It may look similar to “Faithful Coral,” but it is a brighter shade. Faithful Coral looked very light in the store, hence I picked up a safe red. This is a light wear lip stain and you need to coat it twice to get a lovely strong stain. It feels like I have not worn anything and it doesn’t transfer either. It is truly a stain. The color is a lovely warm orange red that’s great for Indian skin tones. I find shaping the lips easy too with this stain.
This lip stain is runny, like a clear gloss, but settles in a minute on the lips. The wand and applicator looks regular and looks like a regular tinted gloss, but it is very transfer-proof.
NYC claims 4-hour wear, but believe me, it lasts through meals and lasts much longer than four hours. The color stains so strong that my hand swatch was difficult to remove. It may look pink when you take it off and then you definitely need an oil-based remover to get it down. On the downside, I find this lip stain drying. My lips crave for some moisture with this lip stain. It does not feel cakey either.

- Pretty color for warm skin tones.
- Brightens up the face.
Cons of NYC Get Noticed Smooch Proof Liquid Lip Stain:
- I find it drying, my lips crave moisture.
- Needs proper removal with a bi-phased makeup remover.
- When I apply it, I find a bitter after taste, so I will skip the “keep on kissing” part with this on 😛
Would I Repurchase/Recommend NYC Get Noticed Smooch Proof Liquid Lip Stain?
It can be a good stain to try, but if dryness is a bother for you, stick to moisturising lipsticks.
