My Experience with NYX Baked Blush Ignite:

Beginning with the packaging of the product, the blush comes in a very cute and pretty black colored plastic pan with a bow detailing. It has a transparent lid, which helps to easily spot this blush in your makeup stash. The back of the blush bears a label indicating the shade name. The packaging looks really cute but it does not come with any mirror or applicator. I don’t mind that because I barely use those small applicators. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.

NYX Baked Blush Ignite claims to be a baked blush + Illuminator + Bronzer. It is actually a blush with a bronzy touch, but it is not actually a bronzer. “Ignite” is a beautiful, warm-toned orangey coral kind of shade with some brownish hue to it. The golden microshimmer and brownish hue give it an amazing sun-kissed look.

NYX Baked Blush Ignite

This is not too shimmery and so it does not look gaudy. The effect looks very subtle and does not look over the top or gaudy. It perfectly goes with my skin tone. The pigmentation is a downside of the product. It is very sheer and I have to really work hard to build up the color.

NYX Baked Blush Ignite pigmentation

The texture is average. It is slightly powdery and dry, actually too dry for dry skin type. I have to prep my skin well to avoid any patchiness. I really need to blend it thoroughly. The shimmer in the blush does not budge at all. It suits my sensitive skin pretty well and does not cause breakouts. There is a tiny bit of fallout in the pan, there’s not too much fallout.

It stays for 4-5 hours on my skin, so I feel the staying power should have been better. Overall, this is an average product and it is not the best baked blush, there are better options available in the market.
