So I was looking for a good concealer for quite some time, and most of them were either too expensive or looked patchy…I wanted something affordable and yet gave a nice even look without any visible patches. I’ve heard quite a lot about Nyx products and decided to try out their concealer.
> A creamy concealer in stick form to help camouflage blemishes, fine lines or skin issues.
> Conditioning ingredients ensure the formula blends easily with fingertips, brush or sponge, and appears natural.
> The non-comedogenic cover-up creates medium to heavy coverage.
I’m not exactly sure about the shades since I bought it online and there were only a few shades available, but this also comes in lavender, green and yellow other than the normal skin shades.
Lavender for sallow skin, green to neutralize redness and yellow for dark circles.

About the product:
“Just dab on and move on…Who’s got blemishes?” claims the product…I got this in shade “medium” which felt a tad lighter on me at first, but after using this with a foundation on top, was a perfect match!!
My take on Nyx Concealer Stick
The concealer is very creamy and really easy to apply. This product is ideal for spot concealing of blemishes so if you are looking for something for your whole face this might be not for you. The product inside is really slim so it’s really great for covering tiny blemishes and acne spots, but it’s also pretty long so will last a long time.
I got this in shade “medium” which is a tad lighter for my skin tone but after a while it seems to have blended in well and isn’t that noticeable..but next time I want to get the next darker shade. This is not very pricey either compared to most concealers of the same quantity. It can be a bit drying so it’s ideal for oily skinned beauties out there. But it’ll suit dry skins as well provided you exfoliate and moisturise properly before application, or it can make the flakes more visible…since the shade is a li’l light for me I couldn’t check it for under eye concealement properly but it definitely lightens my dark circles when i dab on a bit lightly (again moisturise!! :D). Stays on for about 3 hours if your skin is oily but the packaging is cute and compact that you can easily carry it around and touch up anytime..
Here are some of the swatches…
Managed to find a spot on my hand since my eyebrows are really unkempt, so I didn’t want to show you guys my face now 😛 😛
After using the concealer…
Now the spot on my hand was really dark and raised (a mole I suppose), so this works better on the face…just make sure you get the right shade 😀
Price: MRP 715/- but I got this for Rs.536.
Now for the pros and cons (I know this is going pretty long so i’ll keep it short :D)
Pros of Nyx Concealer Stick
• Creamy texture
• Not very pricey
• Suitable for oily skin
• Nice packaging, will easily fit in even in your wallets or even jeans pockets 😛
• Decent staying power
Cons of Nyx Concealer Stick
• Can be slightly drying
• Shade selection (for me atleast)
• Availability could be a problem (no Nyx products in my city ☹ ☹)
Overall I love this product and will definitely repurchase in a more matching shade; one of the best concealers I’ve used so far.
