My Experience with NYX Dark Brown Jumbo Eye Pencil:
The eye pencil comes in a jumbo pencil form. The pencil is white in color with the details mentioned on it with black fonts. There is a clear cap, which does not fit very tightly and I feel it might slip off while carrying. So, I need to be careful while carrying this. The pencil itself bears all the product related details on it. It has product description, ingredients, etc. Overall, the packaging is simple and looks cool but the cap looks slightly flimsy.
The shade “Dark Brown” as the name suggests is a deep brown shade. This one is a matte variant. The eye pencil is devoid of any sheen or shimmers. This is a pro of this eye pencil. It looks nice and matte on the eyelids. The pencil can be used both as an eye shadow and eyeliner. These pencils can be used in different ways. It works nicely as eyeliner but it gets quite difficult to build up the color on my waterline. The shade is warm and it is just perfect to create soft smokey eyes. I really love the color and finish to the eyes. The color pay off of this eye pencil is great. The color is easily buildable. I require some 2-3 swipes to get nice color but blending too much of this eye pencil lowers the color intensity. The color fades a little upon blending.
The formula is extremely creamy. It feels almost buttery while gliding. It glides smoothly all over the eyelids without much dragging of the eyelids. The formula is very creamy and blends effortlessly but too much blending results in fading the color. Though, it is creamy in nature but this particular pencil does not crease like other glittery variants I have. It works nicely as an eye shadow and eyeliner. Even, it can be used to fill the gap of eyebrows. The creamy nature of the eye pencil smudges easily. So, it is not smudge proof. It easily smudges even with slight touching. This eye pencil can be used even as an eye shadow base to intensify the color of other eye shadow and make it last long.
The staying power is approx. 4 hours and the color loses its intensity with time. Removing the eye pencil is pretty easy. As, there are no shimmers in this eye pencil, it can even be removed just with a wet wipe.
Overall, I am happy with the product.
