My Experience with NYX Goddess of the Night Lip Gloss in Deep Bronze:

Packaging: NYX Mega shine lip glosses come in kind of chubby rectangular tubes with black caps. The applicator is slightly tilted so that application is easier. The body is transparent hence spotting the shade is very easy. The gloss doesn’t leak out from the tube. The packaging is nice and travel friendly.

Colour/Pigmentation:  Deep bronze is not bronze-y shade. It’s a deep brownish maroon shade with tons of very fine shimmer. It’s a very rich shade and an immensely pigmented gloss. I feel the colour is only suited for woman aged 30+. It’s not a color suitable for college girls by any means. It’s the perfect shade for cold winters. One swipe is all you need for that bold pout. If you apply more, it tends to bleed, so maximum of two coats is sufficient.

Texture: I love NYX’s lip gloss’s texture. It’s smooth and creamy enough to moisturize your lips for the time that the gloss is on your lips. When you wipe it off, your lips do feel dry and parched.  The gloss has just the right amount of stickiness.  The consistency is neither too thin nor too thick. It’s just perfect.

Staying Power:  It stays for 2-3 hours post which it starts fading. It leaves behind a very light tint. It also fades with meals.

Smell/Taste:  The gloss has this horrendous chemical scent that I hate so much. It has no taste whatsoever.

• Good packaging.
• Rich shade.
• Good texture.
• Moisturizes lips.

Cons of NYX Goddess of the Night Lip Gloss in Deep Bronze:

• The shade isn’t suitable for college girls.
• Low staying power.

Final Verdict:

If the colour was a little bit more subtle, it would have got 4/5. I recommend this to only ladies aged 30+. As for us college goers, it’s a complete skip.
