NYX Jumbo Pencil Yellow-Review

Today, I will be reviewing about a very well known product that is the NYX jumbo pencil. The most talked about shades in these pencils are Milk, Yogurt and Strawberry Pink but I decided to get an unusual shade, so I got jumbo eye pencil in Yellow. Since a long time, I have been searching for a good yellow eye shadow and when I saw that these pencils have a yellow color I ordered it.

What the company claims:
A radiant eye liner that also doubles as an eye shadow. Made with a blend of mineral oil and powder, our creamy Jumbo Eye Pencils glide on effortlessly, no pulling, tugging or fading and come in a rainbow of vivid hues. Some call her chubby. We say voluptuous. Available in 28 shades.
My take on NYX Jumbo Pencil:
I have heard good things about this pencil, especially as an eye shadow base. I was very excited when I received the product. When I opened the package I was sure that this is the color I wanted, an intense bright yellow color. But I was little disappointed when I used it. It didn’t come as bright as it appears in the pencil. It’s a little lighter and kind of milky.
But yes, no doubt it is good as a base. I can use this product under a yellow or sparkly cream eye shadow to get a beautiful look. The product is good pigmentation wise and stays for a long time. But it may have little creasing problem after 3-4 hours.
Pros of NYX Jumbo Pencil Yellow:
• Good quality
• Comes in a nice white colored pencil form
• Good color selection
• Easy to carry and use
• Good as a base
• Good staying power
Cons of NYX Jumbo Pencil Yellow:
• Little overpriced
• Color not as intense as seen in the pencil
Would I buy this product again?
No, because the color I selected can be used only on certain occasions but I would definitely go for more wearable shades.
Do I recommend NYX Jumbo Pencil Yellow?
No, I do not recommend this product as this pencil is not as bright as it appears.

i also liked the shades. Most yellow shades toh you can never pull off. Infact i toh have never worn a yewllo eyeshadow. 😛 This is quite nice. :))
i don’t have a single yellow eyeshadow because i always thought that yellow eyeshadow won’t look good, but i love this color. it can be worn so easily n nicely. 🙂
