This tutorial is for girls who have an office Diwali party to attend. Hope you like it. 🙂
There was no power the whole day today so the colours have not come out as vibrant as they should but i hope you get an idea. 🙂
Start with priming your eye lids and lower lash line. Apply a wash of loose powder on the lid for easier blending.
Apply a soft plum eye shadow all over the lid and going a little above the crease. This would be our main base colour.
Plum is a great shade for both office and party wear.
Now mix the two brown eye shadow from the Maybelline Chai Latte quad. You can also use a single medium brown eye shadow.
Apply the brown eyeshadow directly in the socket of your eye.
Blend any harsh edge with the same brush. Don’t go all the way in. Just on the outer corner to define the crease.
Line your upper lash line with black eye liner. Don’t worry about getting it perfect, we’ll smudge the eye liner.
Now pick matte black eye shadow on a pencil brush.
And smudge the liner. Go closest to the lash line so that there is no gap between eye lashes and lashline.
Like so..
Now pick the highlighter of the same quad.
Brush it on the brow bone.
Now pick the plum eye shadow on a pencil brush
and swipe it on the lower lash liner. Stop at two third.
Apply golden highlighter at the inner corner.
Apply kajal. You can also use brown eyeliner for subtle office look. For evening party looks I prefer black.
Now comes the fun part. Take any golden glitter / shimmer on a pencil brush .
And dust it lightly all over the lid. Don’t worry it will stick for hours. If you are attending office during the day and you have to attend the party in evening, you can carry the shimmer with you. Dust it all over the lids just before joining the party. 🙂
Apply mascara.This will also sweep away any shimmer that must have come on your lashes.
And you are done. 🙂
Depending on the kind of party you care attending, you can do your face makeup. I have kept it subtle. 🙂

Eye products : Maybelline Chai Latte Quad, MAC Painterly Paint Pot, Lakme Satin Kajal, Inglot # 56 Body Sparkle (you can buy any cosmetic shimmer or use a glitter liner lightly all over the lid), Estee Lauder Magnascopic Mascara
Face Products : MAxFactor Age Miracle Foundation, MAC Studio Finish Concealer, MAC Mineralize SKinFinish Natural – Medium Dark, Colorbar Peachy Rose Blush, NYX Lipstick Lala, Lakme Gypsy Collection Satin Lip Gloss No 23
Brushes : Sigma E 40, E 30, E 25
PS : If you remove the golden shimmer part, you can very well wear this look to to office . It’s quite subtle look for every day office wear. 🙂

A shade called burgundy pearl is there. it’s a little deeper than Jazzy Bronze but belongs to the same family. You can also pick up NYX Iced Mocha, Deep Bronze
