PIXEL Mystical Lip Gloss Review

Today I’m going to review one of my favorite Lip Glosses of all time. It’s a very beautiful girly pink, apt for this summer season. So without further ado, let’s get to the review.

Pixel Lip Gloss glides on easy for an amazing high shine look without the sticky feeling. Available in 20 great shades, these glosses feature a soft easy applicator tip, for perfect application each and every time.

Price: $1.69 for 8.5 ml

Shade: Mystical

Packaging: It’s a rectangular tube with an applicator which dispenses the lip gloss. I find this convenient and have never really had too much product oozing out or sticking in the cap.

Consistency: Well, the consistency is what I really love about this gloss. It’s neither too sticky, nor too slippery. It is thick though, so it’s not like you can’t feel it on your lips. However, this is when I put on a base lip balm.
It also has very minute shimmer particles, that aren’t very prominent when applied, but they add a shine and make the color really look gorgeous. So thumbs up for that as well.

My Experience With PIXEL Mystical Lip Gloss :

I received this as a gift from a friend who returned from California, so I was reasonably excited to try this product on. I like to apply a thick layer of lip balm, or petroleum jelly on my lip, and then leave it for a while until I’m doing my eye makeup. Once I’m done with my eye makeup, I put the gloss on the layer, that’s already settled and fading, and this way, the gloss works perfect for me. The texture is really amazing, without any tugging, it doesn’t settle in awkward lines or anything. The gloss smoothly covers the lips and it just looks very pretty, young and fresh. I really like to put this on to keep my look subtle and simple.

Onto the color, it is very pretty, negligibly shimmery, and just a lustrous pout-perfect pink. Its one color we college going girls are always on the hunt for. On the staying-power front, this lasts a decent amount of time- two hours or so. So, that calls for regular reapplications, but I don’t really mind it. It does fade leaving a little tint on the lips, which I usually like. However, the tint fades away within an hour or so.

Also, I have observed that I find it a little sticky/uncomfortable to wear on my lips without previously having applied a lip balm, but that could just be my personal preference and not a con for everyone.

And before I forget, it smells like bubble gum and candy (mangoes according to the ingredients list), which is really my favorite kind of thing in a lip gloss. Anyway, I am in love with this color and product, and it’s definitely recommended.

• Unique applicator.
• Inexpensive.
• Smells like candy.
• Smooth, even application.
• Ever so slightly shimmery.
• Neither sticky nor runny.
• Paisa vasool.

Cons Of PIXEL Mystical Lip Gloss :

• Doesn’t last long.
• Thick in consistency. Some people might feel uncomfortable due to that.
• Isn’t very easily available.
• Needs a lip balm base, in my opinion.

Would I Repurchase PIXEL Mystical Lip Gloss ?
Yes, definitely. I’m going to order lots of these, and keep the stock full.

Would I Recommend PIXEL Mystical Lip Gloss ?
Yes, for everyday use, this stuff is definitely recommended.
