When it comes to lipsticks, I play very safe. I stick to pinks and nudes mostly, sometimes red as well. This time, I tried something new and unusual in my collection. I picked up a golden shade from Revlon super lustrous street chic collection. The shade name is “Gold Goddess”. It was an impulsive purchase and a kick to try something different out of my comfort zone. I did not want to spend much either, so I stuck to a drugstore brand. We all have known Revlon lipsticks as classic good old lipsticks and have seen our moms using them since ages. They are extremely creamy and moisturizing. Let’s see how this shade fared on my skin tone.

My Experience with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Gold Goddess:
Nothing much to share about the packaging. It is a classic black bullet and golden inside. When closed, a golden ring can be seen. Golden is not just for this shade, but in general that is how a Revlon bullet lipstick packaging is. It has a very general feel to it, nothing luxurious. I personally kind of feel not very happy if my lipstick does not come in a cardboard box, but a plastic sheet.
The shade in the bullet appears to be gold. It looks like dipped in real gold, so pigmented and intense. The shade however when swatched was actually much sheer and not like liquid gold. On your face, it looks like golden.
Surprisingly, it turns out to be a much wearable color. In my lip swatch, I have swiped the bullet many times to get the maximum intensity. So, if used very less or gently, I can just see a glow. Can be very surely used as any lip topper to get a golden glow on it. If you can get innovative of using it as a multipurpose product, then it can be used as cream eye shadow or highlighter as well.
It has characteristic old lipstick smell. The texture is very creamy and it tends to transfer. The lipstick does not survive a meal, but we all know Revlon lustrous lipsticks have this creamy formula and we put in money considering that it isn’t a con. It glides smoothly on lips without any tugging or pulling and leaves them moisturized for whole day.
Pros of Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Gold Goddess:

- Not very pigmented that makes it non-wearable.

Do I Recommend Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Gold Goddess?
For me, it is still daring to pull off this shade on lips alone. I will use the lipstick in other ways possible. I don’t think I am ready to sport the color yet. But, if you are a carefree i-don’t-care kind of chic, you can totally pull it off.
