Rimmel London Soft Kohl – Sable Brown
Hello Girls,
How are you all? I am eagerly waiting for the weekend as my last week was quite hectic. One of our colleagues has gone onsite so it is kind of tight schedule… when I was in college I was so eager to start a job but now I wish I could go back to my college days. Anyways coming to today’s review it is for Rimmel London Soft Kohl – Sable Br own. I have already reviewed Denim blue and Jet black shades from this range and now comes the turn of brown.
Price:
INR 170 for 1.2gm
My experience with Rimmel London Soft Kohl – Sable Brown:
These days we have plenty of kohl options in the market in all ranges. From colossal to eye conic to Colorbar to Mac. I remember I was in college when I started using eyeliners and Blue heaven was my first liquid eyeliner. At that point of time I used to find liquid eyeliners so easy to apply. But now the case has been reversed. Now I like using pencil kohls or pen tip eyeliners. I like retractable Kohls more but then there is a disadvantage with them that you can’t sharpen them to create a fine tip. Rimmel soft kohl comes as a pencil with tight cap. I keep the kohl in my bag and the cap does not open up at all. The outer body of the liner is of same colour as is the eyeliner. I liked this thing as it is easy to identify the shade from the makeup kit without opening each one of them or reading the color name.
The texture is very smooth and glides very smoothly over your eyes. It creates fine lines. It does not smudge easily nor does it cause any irritation. Although the ingredients list is not mentioned but I trust the brand. It will stay on your upper lash line for a good 4-5 hours. It might smudge if you rub vigorously. The pencil does not come with a sharpener. I liked all the previous two shades of Rimmel but this one I didn’t like much. The shade is not so pigmented and might not show well on not very fair girls. I had to swipe it many a times but still I am not satisfied with this one. I like kohls which brighten up my eyes and this one was hardly noticeable on my eyes. Overall this is an affordable one and girls with very fair skin might like this one.
Positives for Rimmel London Soft Kohl – Sable Brown:
• Super affordable,
• Creamy texture
• Does not smudge unless you rub it
• Stays for a good amount of time
• Can be sharpened to create fine lines
• Many colours in this range
Negatives for Rimmel London Soft Kohl – Sable Brown:
• Ingredients list is missing
• Not very much pigmented and this particularly does not show well on my eyes
Will I recommend or repurchase Rimmel London Soft Kohl – Sable Brown?
I loved this range of Rimmel and might try other colours too but this colour I might not purchase again as this was hardly noticeable on my eyes. Fair girls can give this a try as this colour will show well on their eyes.
