It’s been almost 2-3 months that I had been practising eye liner application with my Lancôme felt tip eye liner (I reviewed it here on IMBB ), and I got little confidence that I would be able to deal with liquid ones.
So, I got this NYX liquid liner along with my other etc. etc. stuff from phoren friend … 😛 😛 😀 😀

The shade I have is LE01 BLACK.
Price, 6$. (To me it has costed around INR.365. I got this along with other NYX stuff and that package had about 12 things and shipping was $25. So I have calculated shipping per item to be around Rs. 95, so total cost for this liner = 270+95 :D)
INGREDIENTS
Water, Iron Oxide, Acrylates Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Ultramarine Blue,
Sodium Polyacrylate, Imidazolidnyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.
THE APPLICATOR
The thin brush applicator offers ease in application and allows drawing even the thinnest lines on your eye lids.

My Experience With NYX Liquid Eye Liner
This is my first liquid liner and I am happy with my purchase. Being too dependant on pencil liners, Initially I was a bit scared to use it as I have always failed & messed up my eye looks whenever I tried putting on a liquid liner. But with this I can easily draw thin / thick lines as the thin applicator is really easy to use. In just one swipe on the eye lid I get a pretty dark black line. However, it does not meet its superfast drying claim. With super fast we infer that it should be all dried up as soon as when we finish lining up but I had to wait for 30-40 seconds for it to dry and open up my eyes. Overall I like this liner for the dark color pay off as compared to pencil liners.
What is good about NYX liquid eye liner
• The shades is really intense black
• The thin wand makes application precise and easy.
• You just need one swipe to get a nice dark coat of liner.
• Good staying power… will fade just a little even after 4-5 hours..
• Dries to give a matte look.
• The number of shades available is fantastic.
• Easy to handle and carry Sleek packaging
What is not so good about NYX liquid eye liner
• The consistency is really thin and as against the claim it does not dry that super fast. It takes at least 30-40 seconds
• Dries to a matte finish. If you are looking for eyeliners that dry glossy, these are not for you
• It is not waterproof
• Flakes a little (but only after 3-4 hours.)
• Contains parabens.
• Not easily available in India.
Will I buy it again?
I don’t think so, but that’s just because I want to try gel eye liners next. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a routine wear, budget liner and not something luxurious.
IMBB rating = 3/ 5 :-* :-* :-* ( -2 for not being easily available around and for not drying super fast as claimed.)
