Hello everyone. Winters have finally arrived in India. Last night it rained in my city and I had to wear my jacket early morning to combat the cool breeze. Though I love winters but not the dryness of skin it causes. Anyways coming to today’s review, I am about to share my experience of an eye definer which I bought from Rimmel counter. One reason I bought it was my previous awesome experience from the exaggerate range. Hope you remember the brown liquid liner I had shared with you. This is again a brown shade but in retractable form.
Product description: The eye definer comes in the form of retractable pencil. The two ends are covered with a plastic cap. One side is the eye pencil and the other end has a smudge tip. This tip is detachable and opens up as a sharpener. It can be used to smudge the liner after the application but only till the time it has not set. This is an additional advantage of the eye definer.
Texture: The texture of the pencil is soft and creamy. It glides easily on to the water line as well as the lash line. You won’t feel any resistance while using it.

My take on Rimmel London Waterproof Eye Definer in 211 Sable:
Though I love different shades of eye liners but for regular use I stick to black and brown shade. This was another reason I picked it for. The shade is can be described as coffee brown in lighter tone. It will suit the Indian skin tone very well. To get the real colour you need to apply it in at least two to three strokes. Single swipe won’t give you the real shade. When applied on the water line it does not cause any irritation. Water proof claim is very right as even if you splash water on your eyes, you won’t see any difference in the shade. I usually need a cleanser to remove it. Talking of the staying power, it stays well on the eyes for around six to eight hours. After which the intensity of the shade fades down but still it lingers on the eyes. Though I am not a big fan of retractable pencils but this one is worth the price. So I liked it over all.
Pros of Rimmel London Waterproof Eye Definer in 211 Sable:
• Texture is creamy and makes its use very easy
• Shade is very nice
• Staying power is great
• Water proof in nature, so you need not worry.
• Available easily in India on the counters.
Cons of Rimmel London Waterproof Eye Definer in 211 Sable:
• Two to three strokes are required to get the actual shade.
• Tip might break if excess pressure is applied.
Would I recommend its use to others?
Yes for sure. Why won’t you like to try such an awesome eye definer for your peepers? There are so many shades available, sp girls go grab one.
Rating: Though I liked the product a lot, but still I would deduct 0.5 for its light color intensity on single swipe.
