Did you feel like you just read a Chinese title? Well I did when I read the name of this shampoo. You know sometimes the weirdest looking or weirdest named things work the best for you? Same is the case with Sachajuan Stockholm Volume Shampoo.

About the brand :
Salon SACHAJUAN opened up in 1997 in Stockholm by Sacha Mitic and Juan Rosenlind, two highly recognized hairdressers with long experience of hairstyling / fashion in Sweden and abroad.

Beside regular hands-on salon hairstyling their work has been seen through the years in several international fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Allure, Amica and GQ.

The SACHAJUAN salon soon became one of Swedens hottest hair dressing spots and the creation of their own, exclusive brand of hair care products was a natural step forward in their success story.

In 2003 the first few SACHAJUAN Hair care products were introduced on the Swedish market. With immediate acclaim. Sachajuan Stockholm Volume Shampoo comes in a plain Jane plastic bottle, with a press up cap. The packaging is pretty simple and easy.

My thoughts on the Sachajuan Stockholm Volume Shampoo :
Naturally I have healthy and too many enough hair on my head, and they are not that straight not that curly kinds, they are not even wavy. Somewhere in between you can say. I just need the slightest perming to make them curly and the a little effort to straighten them. So basically good hair. 😛 The past one month has been different, I have seen my hair becoming a little lifeless and frizzy at the tips, thanks to all the parties and family get togethers I was in the “style your hair” phase almost the whole month, every single day. So the result, hair care 101 had to come to rescue and then came Sachajuan Stockholm Volume Shampoo. I’m glad it did.  I’m thankful.

Now basically, what took me to this was the “sea algae” as content. It seriously intrigued me and fascinated me but I was a bit reluctant.

I have been using the Sachajuan Stockholm Volume Shampoo for about 2 weeks now and it made me realize the difference in my mane just in one wash. Astonished? Read on.

The consistency of the shampoo is a tad runny, but you don’t need a lot of product so 100ml will certainly last you for about 2 months.

The packaging is good in a way since I don’t like glitzy and glamorous shampoo bottles ATLEAST. It ensures that there is no product wastage.

I used the Sachajuan Stockholm Volume Shampoo as regularly as my other regular hair cleansers and shampoos. Sachajuan Stockholm Volume Shampoo froths amazingly, and leaves the hair clean and oil free.

Sachajuan Stockholm Volume Shampoo smells exotic. I could scent berries and something floral too. The smell of Sachajuan Stockholm Volume Shampoo stays in the hair from one wash to another wash, say 2-3 days.

The hair feels oil free after wash from the roots to the tip. Pumps instant volume into the hair. A visible boost of volume.  (read : not frizzy & dry)
The hair feels soft and healthy with a gorgeous shine to the mane. My mum has straight hair, and she has the similar effects on her hair too. She loves this shampoo to bits too.

The only disadvantage is the price, I find it a tad costly but with the kind of tresses it gives me I would love to splurge on it. Also I haven’t come across a lot of shops retailing this shampoo.

I would say if you are looking for an instant remedy for your lifeless looking hair, please please pick this as soon as you find it. 🙂 PLEASE.
