Today I will be sharing my review on this fabulous summer fragrance Incanto Bloom by Salvatore Ferragamo. I love perfumes and find it hard to resist when the sales people start showing me testers in the stores. This is my first perfume from the Incanto range by Ferragamo and was gifted to me by my mom-in-law who too is a perfume addict.
About the Perfume :
Incanto Bloom showcases the spirit of young, metropolitan woman with a craving for the latest in chic. She likes to collect and exhibit icons of style, taste and elegance such as Ferragamo signature products.
The perfume is available in a 3.4 oz pack that is 100 ml for rs 4500/- Packed in a pretty transparent bottle with cute floral motifs in black and pink and a dainty bow like cap, definitely looks sheek on your dressing table.
Alcohol Denat , Parfum, Aqua, Linalool, Limonene, Benzyl Salicylate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Hydroxycitronellal, Citronellol, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Geraniol, Citral.
Phhheeeww!! Though I did not understand half of the ingredients on the list, one thing I know for sure that unlike a lot of perfumes which sting and burn on the skin, this one is pretty mild and does not give any burning sensation.
My Experience with Salvatore Farragamo Incanto Bloom:
Incanto Bloom is an out and out a floral fruity fragrance with top notes of Grapefruit and Freesia. Heart notes or middle notes are of Tea rose and Champaca flowers. The base notes are of Musk and Cashmere wood. A lot of perfumes, though floral have a very hard hitting fragrance however, Incanto Bloom is mild and very very sweet smelling. The fragrance I feel is suitable for day wear, if you are going out for lunch or a shopping spree with your girl friends, this perfume would be ideal. I also feel that the fragrance is suitable for summers, as it is very fresh and is sure to brighten you up.
The lasting of any perfume on a person depends upon the acidity level of one’s body. The stronger the acidity the lesser the perfume would last on you and will have to be reapplied. Similarly how a perfume smells on you is also determined by the same factor. A certain perfume may smell different on one person and totally different on the other. When sprayed on the pulse points, the perfume stayed for quite some time on me, almost the entire day. It does not vanish completely but gradually fades becoming milder and faint with time. At the end of the day there was still a hint of this floral-fruity fragrance on me.
The Pros of Salvatore Farragamo Incanto Bloom:
– Not harsh on the skin.
– Lasting fragrance does not totally disappear but fades gradually.
– Very feminine fragrance, not too strong on the nose.
– Easily available at most multi-brand stores and also online stores.
Cons of Salvatore Farragamo Incanto Bloom:
– I personally feel that the fragrance is suitable for day time; it is not one of those that can be worn anytime.
– The bottle though pretty is a bit wide and a bit uncomfortable to hold firmly.
Will I Repurchase Salvatore Ferragamo Incanto Bloom?
Well, I quite like the fragrance but it’s certainly not those classic kinds like Chanel No.5 and Dior Miss Cherie which I can’t do without. I think I would like to try other fragrances by Salvatore Farragamo for sure. Their range includes Incanto shine , Attimo, Atiimo L’Eau Florale and Signoria. I am pretty impressed with the quality of their products.
I hope the review helps you in making your choice while buying this fragrance. More perfume reviews coming soon 🙂
