Today’s review is about Schwarzkopf Taft Instant Hair Volume Powder. Hair fall is a common problem with even youngsters these days; I am one of them. I believe chemical treatment is the reason for my hair fall. It’s a known compromise I have made. The positive side is that we have so many beauty products to cover up. Today, I will be reviewing one such product. My hair feels thin with no volume due to hair loss and also due to the straightened hair. Read on to know how I battle it.

My Experience with Schwarzkopf Taft Instant Hair Volume Powder:
The Taft Schwarzkopf Instant Hair Volume Powder comes in a cardboard packaging. Inside this packaging, there is a plastic container which holds the product. The whole packaging is parrot green in color. The container which holds the powder looks like a table top salt and pepper holder . It’s very handy, small and easy to carry. It will easily fit into a clutch. The container comes with a screw lid which is very secure. There is a pattern of small holes on the top of the container which is accessible after opening the lid.
The consistency of the powder is like that of a baby powder. When you rub it in between your fingers, it kind of disappears with a slight moisture and cooling effect. It doesn’t feel sticky. The powder is odorless. I like the fact that it’s odorless. It is advised to rub a small amount in your palm and then distribute it along the hairline. But I tried using it and felt it was not so effective. So I directly sprinkled the powder along the hairline and then massaged it.
The only problem is that you cannot control the amount of product if the powder is sprinkled directly on to the hairline from the container. So I used a small hack and used a tape to block half of the holes through which the powder can be sprinkled. Now I can easily sprinkle the product on my scalp and massage. Once massaged, the volume is created instantly. I have no idea how the powder does the magic but it works. The effect lasts for an average of 4 to 5 hours depending on the weather. If it’s summer and sweaty and even humid, the effect doesn’t last long. In winters, the powder gives the best results.
The product does not feel sticky or patchy. I use it occasionally and have found no kind of discomfort. The only thing you need to care of is the right massaging technique. If it’s not done right and the product is left unattended then it feels sticky. Overall, it’s a good product with very effective and instant results.

On the packaging, it says that it lasts for 50 usages. I don’t use it regularly. So I don’t think I will be able to fish what I own. In case I do, I shall repurchase it.
