My Experience with Sephora Collection Downtown Girl Colorful Shadow and Liner:
The product comes in a black chubby pencil form, pretty much like most of the shadow sticks from other brands. This pencil requires sharpening and is not retractable. It has a plastic seal around it which I very much appreciate since it means that my product has been untouched. It has a sticker which contains the ingredients list. But the sticker is on the plastic seal so will come off once you unwrap the product. The cap is not very tight and secure and there is always a fear of it opening up and creating a mess in your bag. I carried this with me on my trip and luckily it did not open in my makeup pouch. The back of the pencil is color coded so you have to store them upside down in your stash.
The shade is very pretty. Sephora describes it as a matte purple. It is not dark and comes out on a lighter side. The shade is not very bright and is quite muted one. The shade is totally matte and does not have any shimmer to it. Though the product is matte, the vibrant color does not make it look flat.
The application is really smooth and it doesn’t drag on my eyelids or lower lash line, it goes on easily and smoothly.
Coming to the pigmentation, it is good too. It deposits almost 70% of the color in a single swipe and you can go over again to build the color. However, you will have to work fast here because it does not go over smoothly if the first layer is dry. Since the color is on the lighter side, it is visible much better on my lower lash line and doesn’t show up well on my dark lids. The shade would not be visible on girls with dark lids.
It sets very quickly. If you want to smudge it, you will have to work really fast. It is better to do one eye at a time because once set, it won’t budge. While this quality is really good when I use this as eyeliner, it makes it a bit difficult and tricky to use as an eyeshadow as it is really difficult to blend.
The staying power is impressive. Whether I used it as an eyeshadow or eyeliner, it stayed on and on. Even on the days when my eyelids behaved like an oil tank, they stayed and did not transfer on my upper eyelids. Also on the days when my eyelids were mini desert it stayed.;) It worked well in both the scenarios and without any primer too stayed for the whole day (I tested it for around 9 hours). Though the intensity faded a bit but nothing that should worry you and there was no smudging at all.
I applied it on the day we went for water sports and even with all the water activities and it smudged just slightly and I had to remove it using an eye makeup remover at the end of the day.
I do find getting thin lines difficult due to the thick pencil and sharpening leads to product wastage. Other than these minor flaws, this product is totally worth it.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Sephora Collection Downtown Girl Colorful Shadow and Liner?
I use this mostly as an eyeliner and not eyeshadow. I would surely purchase it in other shades. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone (especially girls with oily lids) to try this out.
