Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette – Fair Review

Ola Bonita Chica’s!

With everyone so on point with the contouring trend that has been going on for the last year and a bit, I was not going to be left behind! The Kim K’s of the world have shown us how it is supposed to be done and make this trend explode! I know that I definitely have a bit of cheek chub that I like to sculpt and there’s my double chin too which like to pop out on random days without a schedule. So you have got to hide that as well! Aaah, so many things to do and such little time. That is why this product is so perfect for all of us. This 3-in-1 palette is going to change your world, trust me. Read on to find out how!

Sleek Makeup Face Form Fair (379) Contouring and Blush Palette
This Sleek contouring and blush palette is just that. Sleek! It is palm sized and has quickly become my everyday favourite. The three pans inside hold a contouring colour on the left, a highlighter shade in the middle and a rosy gold blush on the right. There’s plenty of product there to last you forever! There is also a mirror on the inside which is super handy and there’s times when I’ve done my whole face with that good sized mirror. All the ingredients are listed on the back and this magnetic shut case hasn’t broken on me (I have dropped it SO MANY times!) and fits easily inside my makeup bag during travel.

My experience with Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette – Fair:

This is definitely my Holy Grail contouring powder! I used to use the Hoola Bronzer from Benefit, but this one is better and cheaper! Initially, when I saw this palette and the words Fair on it, I thought this shade would not suit me. I am an NC 25-30 in the winters and NC 40 in the summer. Maybe sometimes even darker, depending on my sun exposure and because I tan quite easily. And the Sleek Contouring and Blush Palette comes in four shades (fair, light, medium and dark) and I was quite sure I’d have to possibly move up a shade or two. But then I researched this product and found that where the first two are concerned they actually have a contouring powder, highlighter and blush and the last two have a contour powder, highlighter and bronzer. A few swatches later I was convinced this was perfect for me!

The contouring shade is a wonderful matte brown, three or four shades darker than my skin colour and looks superb on. It does not come off as ashy; I think it has really nice grey undertones which is a huge bonus for Indian skin tones. I use this on my nose, cheek hollows and under my chin. The one downside of this is that it does need to be blended quite thoroughly and I use my Claire’s brush for it that I have previously reviewed! It doesn’t look patchy at all; it’s just that the harsh lines take some time to blend. The pigmentation is fantastic and this has lasted me on several long 12 hour days without fading. This has been a godsend!

The highlighter colour is a duper of a wonderful mix of Booty Call and Verve from the Naked 2 palette. I use this with a small eye shadow brush on the very top of my cheek bones and I have used it on my brow bone too. It’s a beautiful pearly finish and I have to remember to use very little and blend this with my fingers because I always over apply this no matter how hard I try! The pigmentation is again wonderful and it doesn’t blotch at all. Again the lasting power of this shade is extremely impressive.

And I’ve saved the best for last (well I don’t know, I think this blush gives the contour powder stiff competition) with this rose gold blush. It is pure heaven. Now hold on, I was scared by this initially too, but it is so subtle, you need only use just a dab. It is a beautiful shade of rosy pink mixed with the most luxurious shimmery gold. My cheeks look like Dia Mirza’s when I use this just right! I’ve also used this on my eyes and I can’t get enough of this colour! You’ll be hooked once you try!

If I haven’t convinced you to invest in this already then at least swatch it! You might change your mind! This is a very handy, slim palette, with a good sized mirror, decent sized product and it couldn’t fulfil your cheek demands any better! And I know the Rose Gold blush can be a bit crazy for some, just use very little for the day and layer up with it for an evening function. It’s one of those colours that really works with Indian skin tones!

Would I repurchase or recommend Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette – Fair ?
I’ve already ordered another shade in the Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette and I cannot wait for it to arrive! I don’t think I’ll be purchasing a replacement for this anytime soon because there’s so much product, I bought this last year and it is still going strong! I highly recommend this!
