Sleek Oh So Special Palette Eye Makeup Look
This is a soft everyday look I created for people who own the Sleek Oh So Special Palette. Actually, it’s quite a simple look and you can use just any browns and golds. I personally wear this look a LOT. I have kept it quite simple so that people who are new to makeup can start with this simple look. Hope you like it. 🙂
I used these 4 colours in the palette:
Steps :
- I applied a wash of light biscuit colour all over the lid uptil the brow. This not only gives a smooth base to work on but also makes your brow area look cleaner and better.
- Next I applied the dark brown eyeshadow just in the crease and kept moving my brush to and fro to blend out the colour.
- Then I applied the shimmery brown colour just on the centre of the lid to add a little shine to the lids.
- I applied the soft pink colour just on the inner third of the lower lash line to give a little break from all brown look. This step is optional. You just have to be careful that you use pink very light handedly or you might end up looking ill.
- From the same palette I used the while colour and applied in the inner corner of the eye.
- Apply eye liner, culer lashes and apply mascara.
- I used a shimmery apricot pink blush and a coordinating lipstick to add a little colour to my face. You can also do pinks with the same look. 🙂

It is a great everyday look. For evening may be I’d add a bit of black on the outer corners and make it a little darker. You cna can easily go from day to night with the same eye makeup. 🙂

Try single single eyeshadow first…that tho is easy peasy ..then you wont be so scared 🙂
I tried Colorbar’s eye shadow once at the counter..it looked ghastly on me. Then and there thought na baba na..eye shadow is not for me. 🙁

pick up the maybelline chai latte quad. sasta sunder and tikaao. 😀 best for beginners. 🙂 the brown eyeshadow you can use for eyebrows as well. 🙂

I have such badly wrinkled lids that I don’t use eyeshadow at all 🙁
aww ramya, guess you can use matte eyeshadows . they look soft and dont accentuate the wrinkles. avoid using shimmery eyeshadows. 🙂
Oh! Matte ones.. Like the Chai Latte one in Maybelline? I have tried only the Colorbar one. And didn’t dare try again 😉
yeah chai latte maybelline. 🙂 you can apply the light taupe color all over the lid an contour with the dark shade. apply the lightest shade just on the inner corner of your eyes. it should look nice. 🙂

N i got maybelline gel liner 4-5 days back after redaing the reviews here and my god its awsm, am hooked to it, i apply it to college everyday and it stays intact for the entire day, loving it. Rati can u pls tell me a gel liner in grey?
