My Experience with Smashbox L.A. Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Color – Malibu Berry:
This is my first multi-purpose stick. It comes is a twist up, chubby stick form with a buffing sponge attached at the bottom. It is light weight and travel friendly.
It has a feather light formula. On swatching, it feels like nothing has been applied to skin. The shade Malibu Berry is an adorable, medium berry shade with subtle golden sheen. The shade is well pigmented and medium in intensity, which makes it ideal without going overboard. The multi-purpose stick is really blend \able and doesn’t result in streaks.
Though it includes a buffing sponge, I prefer using my own brush/tool for blending purpose when I apply it on cheeks. It gives a natural flush of color to cheeks and lips, with subtle sheen which illuminates the overall look with a healthy glow, but without being overly visible.
When applied on lips, it looks slightly frosty but really beautiful. Berry shade wasn’t my color until I used this product. I have fallen for the formula. It comes with easy blending, streak free application and doesn’t accentuate pores or dry patches. The longevity is 5-6 hours at average.
