Summery Glowy Skin Pack and Scrub D-I-Y

Well today is another DIY from me for those who love to be in Soft, glowy, refreshed skin. So is there anyone who doesn’t want that? What you said No! *hihi* ok so drama stops and DIY begins. My DIY for today is a face pack and a scrub that will leave your skin Soft, Glowy and refreshed! 😀
So this time as it has watermelon and it is summer so let’s call it a “Summery Glowy skin pack and Scrub!”
Things you will need:
• Watermelon – 2-3 medium sized pieces
• Banana- ¼ piece
• Milk Powder- 1 tbsp
• Oats powder – 1tbsp
• Honey – 1tsp (optional)
So first things first let me tell you the benefits of each ingredient!
Watermelon:
• Watermelon is rich in Vitamin A hence helps keep your skin looking taut by reducing pore size
• It is an excellent source of anti-oxidants that helps to fight wrinkles
• As it has water mainly, it will hydrate your tired skin (must for summers!)
• It will exfoliate your skin due to the fruit acids hence will give you a radiant skin
• Also good for after sun skin scare
Banana:
• Adds glow to skin
• Helps fight wrinkles
• It has moisturising properties that will leave your skin soft
• Rich in Potassium and Vitamins
• Helps reduce puffy eyes
Milk powder:
• Has lactic acid that helps to balance your skin
• Lightens skin tone
• Revitalizes dull skin
• Instantly lifts the mood of your skin!
Oats:
• Mild scrubbing agent
• Helps reduce tan
• They sooth and heal skin, while reducing inflammation
• They soften skin making it silky smooth!
• Oats can also sooth mosquito bites and dry skin
Honey:
• Honey is the most amazing moisturiser
• It has an anti-bacterial property that helps your skin from mis-behaving!
• Natural skin lightener
Moving on to the recipe!
Step 1: Mash water melon and banana in a blender and transfer it to it a bowl.
Step 2: Add milk powder to it.
Step 3: Add powdered oats to it.
This pack is perfect for an instant face lift just before going to a party. I have been using this pack almost every summer and love to see my skin after washing it off! My skin feels oh so soft and glowing *happy dance*
How to use:
I use this pack on week days mostly Wednesday or Thursday to revitalize my tired skin. I’ve kept weekday because it is in the middle of the week where your skin starts getting dull due to regular stressed life. This pack is a super savoir at that time!
I first wash my face with warm water so that my pores are open; then apply pack generously and keep it for 30 minutes; wet my hands and start scrubbing it for 2 minutes. I then wash it with warm water and lastly splash cold water to close my pores. I then moisturise my skin with chilled aloevera or cucumber gel whichever I feel like!
Your skin will thank you for this treat! So go ahead and give your skin this wonderful treat 😀
But to ensure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients mentioned, please do a patch test first; once you pass the test keep on doing it! 😀

Hi Barsha, you can try a pack of Multani Mitti with Neem and Haldi to reduce Inflamation… Also apply ice on that area to reduce redness… hope it will subside by then:)

You can check IMBB a lot of Face Packs are mentioned… Also in 10 days it is not possible to for the scars to vanish… you can use makeup for that day 🙂 Try using curd and ambi haldi ka pack…

hey Shivali I too have combination skin 🙂 so this will suit you. Talking about other scrubs you can take powdered sugar and mix it with honey or olive oil … or a simple one with Baking Soda and water:) but Ya both these are not that mild scrub so go real slow 😀 Also for Baking Soda DO NOT Scrub for more than 30 secs and DO NOT keep for more than 10 mins… Hope it helped 🙂
