Lip balms are one of the most essential skincare items in my beauty routine. I always love a good lip balm. Today, I will be reviewing Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench Lip Rescue in the shade “N*de.” Let’s see how it fared for me 🙂

My Experience with Tarte Quench Lip Rescue Rainforest of the Sea Collection Nude:
Packaging: Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench Lip Rescue comes in a sleek, pinkish golden cardboard tube packaging with golden and white coral shell design on it. The lip balm tube is very lightweight. When I first saw the lip balm online, I thought it might be a metal packaging; however, it’s just a plain cardboard packaging. The bottom of the tube specifies the name “N*de.” Overall. the packaging travel friendly and lightweight; however, I expected better packaging at this price.
Shade and Finish: The Tarte lip quench in the shade “N*de” is perfect to its description. It is indeed a very sheer nude pink lip balm. The lip balm is perfect for everyday use. The finish is very creamy and balmy.
Texture and Application: The texture of this lip balm is very creamy and balmy. The lip balm has got a very light pinkish tint to it which is hardly noticeable. It feels very lightweight on the lips. The lip balm has a minty refreshing scent to it. Once you apply the lip balm, you feel the cooling and tingling sensation of the mint. It gives lot of nourishment to my dry lips. The lip balm is very easy to apply. It gives a plump and fuller look to my lips. You can also apply it on top or under you matte liquid lipstick to remove the dryness of the liquid lipstick away.
Pigmentation and Coverage: This lip balm has a very sheer tint which is hardly noticeable. You can easily see the pigmentation of the lips underneath. This is not a high coverage lip balm.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with lip balm. It stays on my lips for a good 3 to 4 hours; however, you need to reapply it after the four-hour mark. Overall, I am really happy with this Tarte quench lip balm.
