Too Faced Primed and Poreless Pressed Powder Review

Product Purchased by IMBB

Hi ladies,

The next product IMBB allowed me to purchase is Too Faced Primed and Poreless Pressed Powder. Thank you, IMBB! The reason I went for this is that the concept of a primer in pressed powder form fascinated me and I have pores (hell, yah!) and I can do anything to get rid of them. Let’s get into the review!

My Experience with Too Faced Primed and Poreless Pressed Powder:

Too Faced Primed and Poreless Pressed Powder Review Box

Let’s start with the packaging first, as usual. Too Faced leaves no stone unturned for a sturdy and cute looking packaging and we all are very well aware of this. The pressed powder comes in a cute pink cardboard box (please ignore the de-shaped box, all credits to shipping 🙁 ) with details printed all over. Inside is the round plastic box which is shut tightly and closes with a click. It is embossed with designs across its circumference and Too Faced is embossed in the center in golden color. Flip side tells us what the product is about and other technical details.

Inside the box, there is wide pan of pressed powder and below it is the puff to apply it. For comparison, I have shown how this is exactly same in terms of size and quantity with Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer.

When it comes to the texture, the product is very finely milled. It’s absolutely white in color. I have hand swatches here to show how white it is exactly. It has no smell whatsoever unlike most Too Faced infused products.

When applied on to bare face, it makes the face look whitish and it leaves a white cast on the face with a sheen on the skin. I am afraid it doesn’t do much about pores. There is absolutely no effect if applied in a small amount and if applied a lot, you will turn into a ghost. When applied over foundation, I felt the same challenge of it being too white. As a primer, it does nothing. It can be used at the last as a final setting powder but to be applied in very less amount as it does mattify the skin.

This wasn’t an appropriate product for my skin tone and I believe it isn’t for any Indian skin tone unless you are really pale. Summing up, it’s a pretty product with minimal benefits.
