Like I said earlier, I used only black kajal every day. But recently, I’ve changed that and experimented with new colours. I love this range by UD and have a few colours from them. Among blues, this is one of my favourite picks for adding a pop of colour to my face. It looks amazing in summers paired with an orange lip.
Using a bit of coloured eyeliner instead of black can add so much to your eyes. If you are afraid to experiment with colour, a pencil liner is a good way to start. You can add a small line to your water line, on top lid as heavier liner or even smudged on the top as a shadow. Pencil liners can work as a sort of a 3-in-1. And what better place to start pencil eyeliner than with UD! 🙂
My Experience with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil – Chaos:
The shade I’m reviewing is called Chaos. This is an eyeliner in their permanent collection. Chaos is described as a vibrant cobalt blue matte with slight floating pearl. The packaging like all UD liners is a long pencil with silver ends. The body of the pencil indicates its colour, so you can pick it out from your stash easily. The cap feels secure and I’ve never felt afraid that it would open or break.
The color as I described is a bright, in-your-face blue with the slightest sheen. That’s mostly how it looks on my eyes as well. It has never tugged my eyes. I’ve never experienced any drag with this pencil. It is very creamy and glides on, true to its name. It is also quite smudgable. I love to smudge this onto my upper lash line and add a black in my waterline. I also use it alone on my waterline. Depending on how you use it, it can be used for day wear or night wear. This is not a shade that is found in drugstore shelves. It’s a very unique colour that I haven’t found a dupe for. So in that respect, if this is the colour you want, UD is where you get it.
This lasts very well on my lids with a primer, almost 6 hours. I have extremely oily lids and anything and everything creases and fades on my lids. Even the strongest eye makeup. This includes the UD liner. Without a primer, I see this fading in 3-4 hours.
I usually wear it on the top and bottom lid and smudge lightly. Else I leave it as is. Pigmentation is not the best among the other UD liners, but pretty good when built up. I would suggest layering it on top with some deep blue eyeshadow to make it stay and deepen the colour or make it pop less when you want to wear it to work. These smudge out beautifully, so there’s a lot of looks you can try with this. It comes off easily with a makeup remover.
As with all other UD liners, this one needs sharpening and there’s always a bit of wastage. I usually don’t mind but when I’m paying $20 and a bit of product gets wasted, my tummy really gets twisted in a knot. It’s a little on the pricey side, but these liners are a good texture.

Yes, a very unique colour to have.
This is a good product if you are looking for a bright blue eyeliner. This unique shade is exclusive to UD and no one does it better. You can use this if you want to switch up your look and add colour to your eyes. I wear this to work too, in summers especially, to add a nice blue pop to my eye. Lasts well when layered and is a trusty makeup item to have on your shelf. Go for it if you’re looking for a good bright blue.
