Lately, I have been at home for like 5 continuous days and I did not actually step out of the house and my skin has improved so much that I can’t believe! I am just loving my skin and I have not used any face packs on my skin and that sort of helped me, I don’t know why? The only thing I have been using is this day cream and I got this one because I thought that my BB cream would not give me enough sun protection and a proper sunscreen was totally needed. I saw this at a price slash, so I immediately picked it up and so far I am loving this one.
Rs. 275 (I got it at 50% price only, yay).
Over exposure to harmful UVA and UVB rays of the sun is responsible for skin darkening, ageing and dark spots. VLCC Anti Spot UV Sun Screen Cream with SPF 35 PA+++ is a lightweight formula that helps fade dark spots and improves skin complexion by visibly lightening the skin tone. Enriched with the goodness of carrot oil, it treats pigmentation leaving skin clear, spot free and even toned.
How To Use:
Take appropriate amount and massage gently to facilitate absorption, 15-20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply frequently for long duration sun exposure.
My Take on VLCC Anti Spot UV Sunscreen Cream SPF 35:
This particular cream is mainly designed as a sunscreen, best during summers, but obviously, I like using sunscreens all-round the year. First, I will start with the packaging, it comes in a box which is yellow in colour and has all the instructions written over it. The tub is made up of glass, it needs to be handled with care because if dropped, it will surely break into pieces. It can be carried around in the bag as well.
The texture of the cream is a bit thick, but does not feel heavy on the skin at all. The cream is whitish yellow in colour and has a mild fragrance like other face creams and vanishes as soon as it is applied on the face. Though it is heavy in consistency, it does not feel heavy on the skin. A pea-sized amount is needed for the face and neck, gets absorbed in seconds, there’s no need to massage. It is a perfect day cream and does not feel greasy or oily, but people whose skin is very oily may find this one to be a little oily for their skin. Now, along with high sunscreen protection, it also claims of clearing up the skin as it contains carrot oil and that would indeed help to lighten or fade out the spots or blemishes and even out the skin tone. What would be a better combination than this?
Obviously, I could notice a very good difference in my skin after using it for a long time, but this will not give results in a week, it has to be used continuously every day for up to 3 to 4 weeks, only then the difference can be noticed. I am currently loving this cream as it is helping with the acne spots as well as giving a very good sun protection.
