It seems ages since I wrote a review. Actually, my camera was not functioning properly despite a hundred repairs, so I finally bought a new one. So, from now on, I will be as regular as I was before:P Coming to today’s review, I shall be reviewing the new deodorant launched by Yardley. I was surfing one of the online sites during a scorching afternoon and bought all 3 new fragrances launched by Yardley Fusion range. I have received my order partly, so I will be reviewing the other two once I get them and use them. Anyway, let us take a detailed review of the existing one.

Product Being Reviewed:

Yardley Charming Princess Refreshing Body Spray.

Product Description:

Yardley Charming princess is a trendy fragrance for the young at heart. This mesmerising fragrance is an elegant fusion of tropical fruity notes, sandalwood and musk.

Ingredients:

Alcohol( 95% v/v) content- 36% w/w. Diethylphtalate- 1% w/w

Price/Quantity:

INR 170 for 150 ml.

Packaging:

It comes in a cylindrical, sleek bottle which is coral coloured and has flowers on the face of it. It has a same coloured plastic cap which fits in tightly and makes it travel friendly. The spray nozzle beneath is just right to release the deodorant, no extra pressure needs to be applied on it. The colour does come as a soothing eye candy during the hot days though there is nothing vibrant about it. Anyway, I do not really judge deos by the colour of the packaging.

My Take on Yardley Charming Princess Refreshing Body Spray:

I have already described the packaging, so I shall start with the fragrance. It is a mild floral fragrance which is pleasant to the senses, I can also faintly smell musk in it. The fragrance is quite mild, fresh and feminine. It lives up to its claims of being a young at heart fragrance. Though I am more into stronger fragrances, so this one is not my cup of tea. The staying power is around 3 hours which I find is okay for a deo, after that also, a mild fragrance lingers for some time. The only major problem which I found with the deodorant is the presence of alcohol, it actually stung my underarm for 5 minutes after which I made it a point never to spray directly on to the skin.

Pros of Yardley Charming Princess Refreshing Body Spray:

• Mild floral, feminine fragrance.
• Travel-friendly packaging.
• Decent staying power.
• Wide range of other fragrances also available.
• Affordable.

Cons of Yardley Charming Princess Refreshing Body Spray:

• Stung the underarm area when applied directly on to the body.
• Contains 96% alcohol, so people with sensitive skin should avoid this one.

IMBB Rating:

3.5/5 (had it not been for the alcohol content, I would have given 1 point extra).

As they say, “to each his own.” Since fragrances are subjective, I would advise you all to test the fragrance before you buy.
