My Experience with YSL Baby Doll Kiss and Blush #9
I have reviewed 2 YSL Kiss and Blush HERE already. Since the previous two were the bright shades, I wanted to pick something neutral this time.
Rose Epicurien #9 is a cool toned rosy pink. It is a pretty pastel(y)shade.You can use it both for cheeks and lips. But personally for me, it works better as a blush color than a lip color. For lips it is a little pale for my skin tone.
- The packaging is a beautiful square pop with a spongey doe tip applicator.
- The texture is smooth and spreads easily.
- The finish is soft creamy on lips and on cheeks, it looks quite natural – pretty much a part of your own skin tone. It also does not have any shimmers so makes it super easy to work with.
- The staying power on lips for this shade is barely 3 hours but as a cheek stain it pretty much stays all day long one me.
- It has a mild fruity fragrance that I like.
- The packaging is not bulky at all and can easily be travelled with.
- The transparent glass
- With two swipes you can get a full opaque finish on lips.
Overall, I absolutely like YSL Kiss and Blush range but this color didn’t cut thorough for me. I only use it as a blush and I quite like it but it does not get as much love as the previous two ‘Kiss and Blush’ get from me.
