I had these three nail paints for a very long time. They fall in the similar price bracket and in this post, I will help you decode what’s special in each of these. Are they really worth splurging 400 rupees? Read on to find out the answers.

My Experience with Yves Rocher Botanical Colour Nail Polish Figue:

Packaging:
I really like the straight and compact small bottle of nail paint. It is slender and very easy to carry. It has a black cap that shuts securely and has the Yves Rocher logo on top. Sadly, the shade name is not mentioned anywhere. The slightly fanned brush is really nice, convenient to grip, elongated enough and disperses color uniformly. There is no accumulation of polish on the brush.
Color and Staying Power:
This color is really unique. It is called Figue/Fig, and is a beautiful deep mauve color. It is rightly named Fig, the color is rich, bold and yet sophisticated. The color screams ‘look at me’ but never overpowers the look like a red or black. Very wearable and contemporary.
The nail polish is of great quality, it applies very smoothly and gives a smooth finish with a sheen. It dries really quickly, in less than a minute. The nail paint hasn’t clumped; I have had it for close to a year now. The staying power is great; it easily lasts 6-7 days with no chipping. On my toe nails, it has lasted more than 2 weeks and no signs of chipping. You can easily remove this with a good nail polish remover.

My Experience with Deborah Milano Gel Effect Nail Polish #41 Deep Blue:

Product Description:
Formulated for rich, full, even color and a dazzlingly glossy finish, the product provides perfect coverage and a volumizing gel-like surface.
Packaging:
It comes in a glass bottle with a shiny silver cap. The shade number is written on the cap. It has some basic details written in multiple languages. The cap closes tightly. The brush is flimsy, and has come off from the cap multiple times. However, it is good for applying the polish in neat strokes. In 1 stroke you can get almost the full nail covered.
Color and Staying Power:
This is a gel nail polish which disappointed me. The color is a brilliant blue, very bright and funky. It will suit the younger crowd very well. I was hoping for a brilliant gel finish. That didn’t happen. It looks glossy initially and in just a day, it loses some of its shine and intensity.
I even used it with a gel polish lamp to set it. It didn’t give me any better results. It takes time to dry more than 5-10 minutes. The chipping started in 2 days, and in 5 days, half of my nail paint was chewed away (it seemed so). Can be easily removed. Not impressed, I would rather get low priced nail paints in loud colors instead of splurging on this.

Packaging:
The nail polish comes in a big bottle and has a matte black cap. The shade name is mentioned on the top of the cap. The brush is thin and you would need a minimum of 3 strokes to cover the nail.
Color and Staying Power:
I was blown away by the color. It is a brilliant deep purple shade, almost like a midnight purple. The color is a beautiful jeweled Amethyst color, which will look great on everyone. The polish is slightly on the thicker side, and clumps easily. You can get complete opaque coverage in 2 coats. It dries in 5 minutes.
The finish is very beautiful, it looks glossy, but loses the shine in a couple of days. So if you are looking for the long lasting glossy gel shine, you will be disappointed. It chips from the tips in 2-3 days. A good quality top coat can make this work. It takes some efforts to remove this completely.
