I am a huge fan of lipsticks. I own quite a few conventional lipsticks but realized that I have no lip crayon in my collection. So, here is the review of my first ever lip crayon.

My Experience with Yves Rocher Radiant Lip Crayon Rouge Bordeaux:
This range exists for a few years now but I tried it recently. The lip crayon comes in a fat plastic packaging. The crayon has a secure transparent cover on the outside, which keeps the product safe as you cannot swatch it at the counter. Hence, you can be sure that no one has swatched the product before you.
The crayon has a plastic lid which is secure and has a good quality. It fits the crayon well, and even after many uses, it does not become loose. The crayon itself is color-coded, which makes it easy to spot in the stash. I like this idea! Color-coded packaging really makes picking up the right lipstick easier, especially if you have many of them.
The lipstick itself is retractable. One does not need to sharpen it with a sharpener. We all know how much product is wasted when we sharpen, and I prefer such retractable packaging. The product is more like a lip balm with a creamy texture but has a slightly higher colour payoff. It has a lip balm like consistency as well.
It glides smoothly and imparts colour to the lips. The product also leads to supple lips. Who does not like lip products that look after the lips? There is shimmer in the product but it’s not overpowering. The presence of shimmer is subtle but makes this crayon apt for evening or night parties. It looks lovely on the Indian skin tones.
As the name suggests, the color is close to red wine. But when applied on the lips, payoff is not so intense. It just adds a hint of color. The product lasts 3 to 4 hours. It does get transferred easily if I eat or drink something. I prefer to carry it along in my bag whenever I wear it for touch-ups. It’s so small that it fits into clutches too. Overall, it’s a good product.

This product works well as a tinted lip balm. If you not comfortable with intense lipsticks, this is a good option to try.
