I think one can never have too many black eyeliners. My recent eyeliner obsession has been the Ardency Inn Punker Rock On Waterproof Liquid Liner. Read on to know more about this product.

My Experience with Ardency Inn Punker Rock On Waterproof Liquid Liner:

Packaging and Applicator: The packaging is quite sturdy and the cap closes securely to prevent the liner from drying out. I love the whole “Rock On” theme with the hand gesture on the cap. The packaging itself is nothing new nor is the applicator, which is a long, thin, pen-style brush. You can see it in the picture of all my existing black eyeliners, side by side to Lorac Pro Eyeliner and Stila All Day Eyeliner and notice how similar they are (note that it is also very similar to the Kat Von D Tatto Liner, which I have used in the past, but don’t have on hand anymore- because clearly, I don’t need any more eyeliners :P)

Formula and Application: If you are used to pen style eyeliners, you will love this one. The eyeliner glides and creates a smooth line with no skipping. The formula is not too thin that it is smears nor too thick that it clogs the brush. I like the fine tip which helps me create super sharp cat eyes.

Shade and Finish: The only thing about this eyeliner, which I am not a fan of, is that the finish is a shiny patent finish. I prefer eyeliners to be a bit more matte than this, but it’s still not a deal-breaker for me. The shade is a deep jet black, just how I like it.

Staying Power: This is truly a long-wear eyeliner. It also claims to be waterproof, which my hand swatch attested to. On my eyes, the liner wore for over 8 hours without smudging or fading. It dries quickly hence there is no transfer to eyelids which is can be an issue for hooded eyes.

Overall, this is a great eyeliner but it is not necessarily unique. There are many many more like this in the market, but regardless, it did deliver on its claims and I still love it and will recommend this liner.
