My Experience with Chambor Orosa Retro Rouge Lip Perfection Lipstick:
The lipstick comes housed in a dark reddish cardboard packaging with all the product details printed on it in rose gold fonts. This outer packaging has almost all necessary details about the product. Inside this carton, comes a tiny rose gold lipstick tube that looks so beautiful and classy. The small lipstick tube is rose gold in color. The packaging is not color coded, so I need to check its base to see which shade I am picking.
The shape of the lipstick bullet is quite different and unique. The cap of the lipstick shuts tightly making a click sound, thus making the lipstick purse friendly. Overall, the packaging is so beautiful and does not have any flaws. The shade “Retro Rouge” is a pretty red shade that will flatter almost all Indian skin tones easily. This is a gorgeous shade that is beautiful for parties or girl night out. But, being a vibrant shade, it is not a daily wear kind of a red lipstick. It imparts that instant pop of color to the entire look.
There are no shimmers or glitters in the lipstick. This lipstick delivers a lovely satiny finish. I am already in love with the pigmentation and formula of these Chambor lipsticks. The lipstick is amazingly pigmented. Just one swipe on my lips is good enough to get an opaque finish, hiding lip pigmentation. I just need a second swipe for an even finish.
The color is easily buildable. This particular shade does leave a light stain on the lips, but that does not look cheap. The texture of the lipstick is buttery, soft and smooth, and glides on my lips like butter. It glides smoothly on the lips without any tugging or pulling of the lips. It never clings to the dry patches of the lips. The formula is lightweight and feels so comfortable on the lips. It does not feel any heavy even upon layering, does not crease.
The lipstick is very moisturizing, it keeps my lips nourishes and hydrated even after hours of application. It feels so comfortable that I do not even realize that I am wearing something on my lips. As it is a creamy lip color, it does have a tendency to transfer easily to mugs. The lipstick does not settle into the fines of the lips. It does not bleed or smudge usually, but I have seen bleeding after a meal.
The lipstick lasts for some 5-6 hours easily with slight sipping or snacking, but the color gets ripped off easily after a full heavy meal leaving a light reddish stain behind, but the stain can be taken off using a good makeup remover. Overall, this is a nice lipstick.
