I was on a vacation recently and I had forgotten my lotion. I had to buy a new one and when I went to a drug store, the only brand I could recognize was Dove but the only variant was for normal skin. I was reluctant at first but that being the only option, I had to take it or leave it.
What the Company Claims:

My Experience with Dove Go Fresh Pomegranate and Lemon Verbena Nourishing Lotion:
My skin is very dry and I always prefer a rich moisturizing lotion. I had no other option other than picking this up. I have used Dove lotions before but most of them didn’t provide enough moisturisation.
The product looks like all the other lotion variants and is white in color with a flip cap. The cap is not very tight and is a little flimsy but this doesn’t make the product leaky. The product has a medium consistency and has a citrus fruit fragrance. The lotion spreads well and gets absorbed quickly. It doesn’t leave any residue after application and gives a matte look.
The fragrance stays for long time and is pleasant. The product is made for normal skin and thus it doesn’t provide the effective moisturisation needed for my dry skin. The skin stays hydrated for approx. 4 hours and then I need a reapplication. The skin looks refreshed and healthy but it is only temporary and I didn’t find any long term results from the product. I noticed that after few hours my skin became dry and I could draw dry lines on my skin.
The dry parts near the elbow, on the knee became very dry and I had itchy feeling. So, this product didn’t suit my need. I also noticed after few hours that I started having dry patches and the dry skin started shedding. This is really not good when you wear short dresses. The product could be a summer option but not definitely for dry skin.
So summing up,
Pros of Dove Go Fresh Pomegranate and Lemon Verbena Nourishing Lotion:
• Smells pleasant and stays long.
• Travel friendly.
• Makes skin look moisturized, hydrated for few hours.
• Can be a good summer product.
• Non-greasy and doesn’t leave any residue.
Cons of Dove Go Fresh Pomegranate and Lemon Verbena Nourishing Lotion:
• Not suitable for dry skin.
• Doesn’t provide moisturisation all day long.
• Results are temporary and the skin dries out after few hours.
• Dry parts of the body can become very dry and itchy.
• Dry patches can clearly be visible after sometime.
• Pricey!
